Not to recommend but I think the target of CLIQ is more for backpacking-type activities, but it is not light enough compared to its competitor. It sits too low.

Not at 3+ pounds they are not. More compact and portable. I don't know anyone who is serious that rocks and alloy framed chair for backpacking. Even at 1 pound, that is almost a day's worth of food.

yes, exactly. that is why i mentioned it is not light enough. I have a friend who got fooled by their ad and buy it for a backpacking trip😂

Cliq is worth the money. Mine is dedicated to the Bronco and is affixed to the MOLLE panel using rough country rubber straps (actually really good) for quick access

Edit: I see a lot of input about cliq. Definitely a certain type of chair, and pricey. My requirements were small so not to consume a lot of room (even if it meant sitting lower), no baby giraffe type rods, and comfy/sturdy with feet so it doesn’t cut in to the dirt while sitting. Cliq meets and exceeds all those requirements, however, I have a GCI rocker that is waaaaaaaay better chair, but takes up a good amount of space.

just my .02

Bought their 1 lb. Chair (Chair Zero?) for backpacking. Liked it so much that I bought their Savanna Chair for the Bronco. I have fallen asleep in it! Packs down fairly small and fits under one side of the rear seat. Not for anyone on a budget however, as they are somewhat pricey..

I'm 64 years old and have camped since I was 9. I also have back problems, and I love my stargazer chair from Nemo Equipment. I own 2 of them and their pricey but so worth it in my opinion. Comes with a lifetime warranty.

Recently picked up an AnYoker high back chair. Folds down and fits in the included pack. I wanted something that has a small footprint for storage, but didn't compromise on comfort.

I am curious for those who don't like the original cliq chair on their height and weight. Some chairs will be more comfy for some than others based on that. I really wish I could sit in one before I commit to purchasing it. I'm 6'2 with a relatively athletic build and am just curious on comfort for this body type. I'd love to keep one mounted in the bronco all the time, my current one takes up tons of room.

I’m 5’11, 160lbs and it is quite comfy. Used it this weekend in fact. You are sitting low to the ground and leaning back. As long as you’re ok with that, I think it’s great. If you really want to test it out just buy from Amazon. They’ll take it back no questions asked with free return shipping.
