The hard top can be made reasonably quiet, I went from perhaps the most offensively noisy of hard top to one that is bordering on normal passenger car levels of quiet just by adjusting it. Made a HUGE difference.
I 303'd my gaskets last week when I put the top back on ... nice improvement there. Most of the creaking is gone... sounded like an old wooden battleship! LOL

Might try that "foam in the filler panel void" trick.

But really, I had no issue with either the 2dr MIC or 4dr softy. It's a freaking Bronco after all. MOst of these peeps really need a M-B G-wagon, or a Defender.

My biggest gripe with the tech is how every system is all needlessly interconnected and mutually dependent on each other. One tiny little hvac sensor fails and it bricks the whole vehicle.... stupid
2nd biggest ... too much of it to begin with. Why the hell does it need to think about it for 30 seconds when I try to turn the AC/heater fan speed up or down.
Hello, blower motor resistors ... they last for decades and did the same freaking job ...instantly.
.... and drag sensing wipers ... What??
WHY? I cannot recall any vehicle, ever, in my entire immediate family that wore out the wiper system.
How freaking fragile are these things? ...and more electronics, sensors and programming is the answer for a problem that never existed?

Simplify. simplify, simplify.....

1. Proper instrument cluster, like on the Braptor.
2. Offer auto 4WD on ALL models, not just on the Sasquatch package and the Badlands.
3. Optional white top.
4. Bring back cloth seats, at least on the Big Bend.
5. Keep improving interior materials and colors. For instance, the Heritage Limited saddle-colored leather is GORGEOUS. That should be available across more models.

Better hardtop.

Less road/ wind noise.

Working windows.

Working doors.

I wish they'd go away from frameless.
Frameless isn't inherently a problem though. The Mustang has had them for many years and they're great. They're only an issue in the Bronco because Ford fucked them up. They could fix em. They just don't feel like it.

My "wish" is that Ford will reopen order slots for the iconic "Heritage edition" in October for MY2025, and without any aesthetic changes as it is near perfect already.

Now that people are beginning to see Heritage editions in-person out on the road, would-be customers are frustrated/disillusioned that dealers say Ford is not taking orders for them. And that's a dangerous situation for Ford to have with the Bronco brand. Perhaps, Bronco sales would not have fallen 25% this year if customers could place orders for the retro model Heritage edition.

I view the Heritage edition as an "essential" model in the portfolio of trim levels, because it takes our hearts and minds back to the iconic original Bronco, the truck that brought Ford to the party.

Do people really like wireless chargers that much? I still haven't used one in a car that was half decent.

Ventilated seats would be my #1 though
I put in a mount with an Apple Magsafe charger and its best thing ever-I pop the card holder off the back and slap the phone on it when I'm driving. Most built in wireless chargers are worthless anyways.

I had cooled and heated seats in my SHO, I wasn't a huge fan of the cooling feature on them, might have worked better if they where full leather seats, but all they did was make your back side tingle a little and didn't cool me off that much.

Ars Technica has an interesting story about "The 10 things car buyers say they want in their next car". Interesting what those are, although a lot of these are tech I wouldn't/don't care for:

1. Wireless phone charger
2. (tie) Backseat wireless charger
3. (tie) Heated and ventilated seats
4. Rain-sensing windshield wipers
5. (tie) Moonroor/sunroof
6. (tie) Shared driver profiles (Android Auto)
7. 110v plug
8. Rear sunshades
9. Rear cross traffic alert with automatic emergency braking
10. Built-in air compressor

Of course, 1/2 are LOL's for Broncos. You can put the charger in the Bronco, but the charger no need to work??

Ventilated seats would be nice with lux package.

We have 1/3ish/4?/5 :LOL:/9.

10 would be AWESOME.

I personally would like nicer plastic and better interior everything, but that's just me... Also a way to option the Rock Jock AntiRocks and maybe even 74W portals (done right).

What is the Bronco missing that would make it's features really stand out?
An instrument cluster that actually tells you everything going on mechanically without having to toggle through stupid menus. The Braptor or Ranger cluster would do just fine. Also, restore cloth upholstery as an alternative to the awful MGV, add the rear seat A/C vents available in China Bronco's and set up the Sasquatch suspension to sit level, F to R instead of the pickup truck rake built into it now.

The current instrument cluster really is terrible so the same cluster as the Raptor/Chinese market Broncos would be welcomed. The dual injection 2.3L engine would be nice as it sounds like it's a stronger engine based on the Mustang reviews.

https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/2024-ford-mustang-ecoboost-first-drive-review/

In this modern era of easy speed, you'll never mistake the revised EcoBoost for being fast, but it'll likely embarrass most V-8-powered Mustangs built prior to 2010. The fourth-gen EcoBoost mill makes more power earlier in the rev range than the EcoBoost it replaces, staying on the boil for longer.

Much of this is why I bailed and bought my JL Rubi. Waited and waited for the base to off hold and then it got dropped, throw in dealers that wanted to gouge on price but couldn't give a guess on lead time, by then I was sufficiently irritated. Presto!
Granger came through for me, on an earlier placed under $30k base order I figured would never amount to anything. Otherwise I would likely not own a Bronco.

Come on Ford bring back the lower cost base versions, you're currently $8k higher in price over Wrangler to get into a Bronco.
