is this like a power station or just a shore power battery? Just curious, I’m shopping power stations for prime day.

Ended up getting their 45qt dual zone with a battery, the size of it was very appealing compared to the Rocky and the glacier. And it was like 500 out the door
On my Rocky, I have the battery that goes into the refrig. The 100AH LI is the 12V battery that runs all of the power on my Aliner trailer.
Make sure to register the refrig with BouseRV, they will give you a free extended warranty

I grabbed the Bluetti also because it was on sale, with two 150w solar panels. It’s big and heavy. Can run my fridge for about 5 days, if nothing else is plugged into it. Of course depends on the temp you have your fridge set at, outside temps, etc. Do the research, it has to have the power to start and run the fridge. I have a smaller 300w unit and it won’t run the fridge. The larger ones shouldn’t have a problem.

While at camp it ran the fridge for 5 days straight.
I guess what is the issue with it not kicking the fridge on? The output rating of the outlet it would be plugged into? (Dc vs ac)

Good question. I'm no elecrical engineer but it has to do with watts and amps, maybe. Come to think of it I tried the fridge on my Rockpals 300 using 12v dc and it didn't work. I will give it a try with the AC outlet and report back.

Doing a little research, the Rockpals 300 that I have does not have the internal circuitry (regulator) to push a fridge on the 12v circuit. It will work on the AC but drains the battery faster.

So this thread cost me some money on Prime deals thanks gents. I went ahead and ordered the Setpower PT35 on sale for 219.00 and the Setpower battery pack that can run the fridge unit for 7 hours 99.00. I also went ahead and ordered the Jackery Solar 1000 generator since it was also on sale for 799.00 and figured I would have it if I needed to run it multiple days. All in all did save some money with the prime deals time to test everything out once it arrives.

I’m in the same boat, already ordered the bougeRV ed45, and its battery. Going back and forth between a ac70 and ac180 with a solar panel. Cost vs Size. Then onto other goodies, decent deal on a cargo table and bag, and looking at door tables. Prime day is dangerous. I didn’t realize the setoower was that cheap, I might have to cancel my order and look at those

I recently got a 23 quart BougeRV and love it. Perfect size not heavy at all, my wife will be borrowing it. Has a small foot print and gets cold really fast it’s more than perfect for day trips. I’ve just been leaving it in the bronco plugged up. While plugged into the rear 12v the bronco still gives it power for about 30 minutes after you turn it off. First I got a Kohree 30 quart and it took up way to much space and made my ears ring with a high pitched noise it would make when the compressor turned on. I sent it back. Two thumbs up for BougeRV.

I just recently installed an Iceco APL35. Took it out for a camping trip this last weekend and was very happy with it. It's very quiet, and the bluetooth functionality with the app makes it extremely easy to monitor and change the settings.

My setup is:
  • Victron Orion XS DC-DC charger
  • 100 AH lithium battery
  • Iceco APL35
  • Iceco slide (mounted to JCR floor)
  • JCR Off-Grid Modular Drawer System Floor (rubber matt is covering it)

Excuse the camping and offroading dust....

Looks great, what kind of run time did you get out of the 100ah battery?

In eco mode the fridge drew around 25 watts, and in max mode about 40 watts. With the 100 AH battery fully charged, the battery BMS said my runtime would be around 40 hours..... In any case, I ran it all weekend and it never got below about 80%. Driving around it charged back up very quickly.

I have the apl35, super light(lighter than rtic i have used...20 or 45L). ECO mode was incredible. I did a week long trip and if its not over 80, it just sipped my battery, a 1800w/1152wh bluetti lasted me a week basically, i barely switched back to the 12v. Bad news for me, 2d, so it doesnt fit as well as if i had a 4d. Once I hit 90 degree days, the battery ran much more to work to keep it cool. I do not have the cover for the apl35.

I have always hot wiring to the cargo area for air compressor? Lights and 12v outlet for fridge. Individually switched.
