I have the RollnJack and a tight parking spot as well. With the top on, I typically back in the garage. But with it removed, I just pull in with the top up over the front of the Bronco. I'll post a photo next time I remove the top. Right now, Mother Nature won't let me. In the meantime, here are some photos removing the top. I preferred this over the Toplift for the design, ease of use, and it was slightly cheaper.

The pads on this model look much larger than the TopLift. Given the known weakness of the OEM top that's a plus in my book.

Anyone with the TopLift... Do you think you could also use it to install/take off the soft top with one person?

Had a top lift pro can’t imagine anything being easier/better than it. Still doesn’t help the fact u gotta screw/uncrew 10 bolts every time u wanna take back portion on/off. Ultimately got tired of messing with the whole setup and bought a Trektop after selling hardtop for $7k

I am considering a RollnJack or TLP. One issue I face is I have a workbench and cabinets at front of my garage. Also I normally back the Bronco in and wife parks normally with her front nose of her vehicle pointing to the cabinets. Entry to the house is closest to her side so storing the top in front of her would block access.

I would like to continue backing the Bronco in. Is it possible to keep the top lifted/stored in a higher position so it clears the Bronco when backing in?

Borrowing a picture of the RollnJack someone posted earlier, it seems there is 56-86” of vertical adjustment in the main support. I would guess there is also a minimal amount in the lifting legs that are on the cantilevered portion of the arm.

My ceiling is a little over 8’ tall. Ideally I could get the top of the hard top near the ceiling. My other concern with putting in max (or near max) vertical adjustment would be if it gets wobbly the higher you go.

Hoping someone can confirm.

Relooking at this detail, 86” (7’ basically) may be the max height from floor to top of supports. With a few inches for hardtop thickness I think max dimension to top of hardtop is around 88”. Roughly a foot from my ceiling. Is that right?

Hi folks,

I know some of you have a TopLift Pro, but the RollnJack has caught my eye recently. I'm looking for feedback on both - And ideally you have seen/used both before and can provide a pros and cons of both.

Our garage is pretty short and I worry about how close to the top lift I can park? For reference, if I have my Kuat Pivot 2.0 and bike rack on my Bronco, I JUST fit in the garage. Now I can wheel the top rack off to the side as well, but not preferred as it takes up a large footprint.

Just curious on thoughts or feedback on both. I kind of like the RollnJack and understand you need to crank it to lift.

Thanks!

P.s. A hoist from the ceiling isn’t an option either.
It sounds like you have a garage similar to mine. The fact is that it barely qualifies as a garage. My house is over 100 years old and back then cars were quite a bit smaller, and therefore the garage they were in. The Bronco barely fits in both width and length wise with less than 1” clearance in width when pulling in. Even the height is limited with less than 3” clearance on the door height.
Needless to say, there isn’t a lot of room for a lift for the top but the top lift pro does work in this limited space. I am sure some of the other designs shown in this thread by others would work as well and I kind of like the simplicity in design of some of the other options over the top lift pro, but I have it already so…… 😁
Good luck with your choice. I am sure they would all work fine.

Do we know if the Rollnjack and TL will work with the new mountains2metal fold down attic tray?

When I purchased my attic tray at Super Cel they said it would. I test fitted the top lift pro on mine and it will work. I’ll snap a picture this evening when I’m home for work and installing the lower cargo tray. But with the tray folded down it fits right in.

Sorry I couldn’t get the photos of it this evening. I installed the lower cargo tray and ran out of light and time. I’ll get the photo with the TLP with the Attic tray over the weekend.

Penn State fan here.
Just needed to say that while we may not be fans of the same teams. That license plate rules!
