has anyone with a Raptor had luck in turning off the crazy annoying seat belt reminder on the dash. I tried the Forscan change listed in the spread sheet and no luck, it's still there.

On the regular Bronco, you don't need forscan, directions were in the manual.
Considering I'm always throwing bags and stuff in the seats and have dogs, it seems stupid to keep the chimes on.

Yeah, you don't need Forscan. I did it by following steps someone posted here.

Either I'm off base or all replys so far are. I included the screen shot because this is not the chime and the little indicator light on the dash, that can be disabled by a series of latch/unlatch, and, I am buckled! This thing tells me to buckle, then tells me I am buckled, and then if someone opens the passenger door or tailgate it repeates the notifications again, eventhough I never unbuckled. I'm pressing "ok" multiple times just to get rid of the notice my seat belt is on.

I just picked up my Bronco Raptor a couple days ago. I'm having the same problem, need to press the OK button ever time to delete the seatbelt screen. Did you figure out how to program so screen goes away by itself ? Thank you advance.

No, i think it is a Raptor specific issue. Best i have found is to buckle all the rear belts, and for some reason will clear the notice quicker. I think this is more anyoying than the double honk :(

https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle-safety/seat-belts

" Seat belt use in passenger vehicles saved an estimated 14,955 lives in 2017. "

Later in the article:

  1. If you buckle up in the front seat of a passenger car, you can reduce your risk of:
    • Fatal injury by 45% (Kahane, 2015)
    • Moderate to critical injury by 50%
  2. If you buckle up in a light truck, you can reduce your risk of:
    • Fatal injury by 60% (Kahane, 2015)
    • Moderate to critical injury by 65% (NHTSA, 1984)

Yep, fucking sheeple. Funny part was it took me just as long to google "seat belt safety facts" as it did for you to find that stupid picture, unless you have it saved, which says a lot more about you than I care to think about.

I'm sorry i dont get why you keep posting this? The issue is not about buckling up. The issue is its tells you, at some length "you are buckled".

I’m surprised there’s nothing in the owners manual for this.

With all these plebeian Bronco owners wanting to swap out their gauge cluster for a Bronco Raptor one, I’m sure you can find some “take off” Bronco one to swap out for. ;):ROFLMAO:

Sorry for the confusion - I was replying to the person who posted that "conform" image on someone suggesting wearing a seatbelt -

I don't know the solution. I have the dumbest model of bronco with the tiny screen and found a guide on here. I know I had to do mine because I have a huge dog that rides shotgun.

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/how-to-disable-seatbelt-chime.27125/

That is only for the chime. Not the image you shared. Is there a way to just switch the screens so that doesn't show?

For clarity…..yes you can disable the chime for the front two seats by doing to insert release protocol listed in the owners manual. What is being discussed here is the infoscreen “ok” that pops up all the time. I did the chime disable a few days ago and then did the FORScan mods last night. So far it works. The super annoying info menu is not coming on. 2024 Braptor

This is still an issue on these, I just did a Google search and found this thread because it's really annoying that my seat belt is on, but that message stays up.

The message goes away on its own after 1 minute. I too thinks its annoying and you would think it would at least go away immediately if you had green check marks, but...
