Not sure I would tow it with a bronco and its to light for the side area. You will get blown all over in high winds.
I think it’s GVWR is like 4200 so isn’t it too heavy anyway?

For those who have one.. What you hauling? I'm looking at getting a camper but idk what's to haul. The tow cap is 3500. I saw a jl tuck hauling a winnebago so I know it's possible in the bronco. However I can't seem to find anything within the rating.
I don't know if a having a "camper" specifically is a requirement for you, but I personally will be doing an overlanding trailer with a pair of roof-mounted tents—one on the Bronco and one on the trailer itself.

Haven't decided on the specific trailer yet... I may ultimately build my own. But the the top three contenders at the moment:
  • Turtleback Trailers - Probably what I'll be going with.
  • Patriot Trailers - Australian company, the most popular and most feature-filled trailers for sure. BUT, expensive.
  • Off-Grid Trailers - Canadian company. Solid trailers for sure, but just didn't see one with the combination of features I'm looking for.
I also looked at teardrops, although I've basically ruled those out at this point. But since I put in all of the research for it... here were my top two choices to save you some time:
And some more traditional campers and popups that I briefly considered but ultimately ruled against:
I think you would also like the Xpedition Voyager, made in Salt Lake, Utah. Our's is supposed to be ready for delivery in a month or so. I shopped for three years before deciding on the Voyager. The Off-Grid Expedition was my winner until I saw the Voyager, it's more money but it's built like a tank, with a kitchen that no one comes close to.

We are running a Campinawe camper that we purchased from an outfit located in Shawnee, Kansas. The camper is a little over 1900 dry and travels like a dream behind our might 2.3. The rear galley kitchen works well. (https://www.campinawe.com)

$50k!?

Man I'd have to spend every weekend in it to justify that.

I tow a Coleman Rubicon BH1400. Dry weight around #1900 and loaded at #3000. Tows great with the 2dr 2.7 with a RedArc brake controller. We camp at State Parks but have been down some rather rough backwoods roads with it. With the Naturest 270 awning and wall kit it works out well for us. Paid 12,000 OTD for it last year

That Naturest awning really increases space. Always wanted one of these smaller campers but figured I would wait for the kids to be out of the house but that looks like a good area to throw a couple of cots for them.

My dad always said tow ratings are super conservative and you can easily pull double what a vehicle is rated for. With that in mind I figure the Bronco is good for easily 7,000 pounds and the camper is 6,514 dry, so I just tow it with empty tanks and it’s fine!

JUST KIDDING! DO NOT TOW OVER THE RATING!!! I actually tow this with a RAM 2500. I took this pic when I stopped by the camper to winterize it, and I was plugged in to power the electronics and charge the battery a bit while I was there.

Yes, not inexpensive, but the ones that are really designed and built to take the punishment of serious off road travel are all in that range. We just finished our second season with the Voyager and it's been impressive.

Yeah I'm interested in something, but with two little boys that's too many bodies for a teardrop. Maayyyybe a larger one with a RTT. Or maybe one with a huge awning for some cot bunk beds.
