Man, that's what I've been thinking for a while. Kinda wonder why Ford didn't bring that seal all the down. So you just cut it to shape and with the door closed push it into that gap? Did you feel like that'd work better than opening the door?
Not sure what you mean by opening the door unless you're under the impression that trim piece moves with the door. It is a fixed piece of trim so that was the only way to get it in there. When I take the top off I am going to replace it with an actual piece of rubber seal that will be attached to the top.

Easy.. Pioneer the first coyote swap
If they offered one, I would probably have chosen it but the 2.7 beats it in every performance category except sound. I have both engines in F150s and while I love the coyote sound, if I have to do any towing or real work, I always choose the 2.7.

what did you modify to kill the fake engine noise?
I followed the recommendations from this thread. The B&O audio system includes an active noise reduction feature that uses the stock sub to cancel out noise. I changed my stock sub and had to turn ANC off. That also turned off the fake engine noise. I miss ANC, but not the fake engine sound.

How much did this cost you? Did they have to replace the door modules or just reprogram them?
No cost. Just a software update they do.

is that for the driver’s side only or all windows? Does it go up after you start the vehicle, lock it, or latch the door? Or do you have to roll all windows up?
All windows. They go down for about 20sec then automatically go back up

What the heck!! My dealer had no idea what I was talking about! Does anyone have a TSB# I can share with the dealer?
When I first went to dealership they didn’t know either. Some tech hooked up his laptop to my bronco. He checked for door module updates. Found them, then I scheduled it for them to do the update the next week along with my oil change.

Was the lack of fake engine noise actually noticeable after programming it off?

I mean... I won't lie, the window drop feature that @RowsKing mentioned was pretty fantastic. Such a silly simple thing, but it's awesome.

I'd have to rate the audio upgrade above the window-drop feature. It probably goes beyond the "EASY" requirement for this thread, but overall it's definitely been the most impactful upgrade.

EDIT— Just a heads up... Ford removed the update from FDRS and it is no longer available. See this post from @Ducati1098 for more information.
