Did not even ask yet. I was kind of assuming they wont but will see. There is no 4x4 shops near me. I have been looking at a tire machine and balancer that will do up to 42".....Did Sam's say they would install on Beadlocks? Before I adjusted the revs/mile and gear setting I still didn't have any CEL's/Codes; the speedometer was just further off of GPS determined speed.Seems to me others have them installed and things are working just fine.... Other than the one MT???? I would guess speedo may be off slightly if you go over a 37... but...
That is great to hear.Before I adjusted the revs/mile and gear setting I still didn't have any CEL's/Codes; the speedometer was just further off of GPS determined speed.
Yours is auto trans? Or manual?Before I adjusted the revs/mile and gear setting I still didn't have any CEL's/Codes; the speedometer was just further off of GPS determined speed.
Crazy idea that might actually work;Well I am quite certain I'm going to wrestle w/this issue! As usual I will post my results. Procal currently allows you to set gear ratio up to 5.38...that's 6% less than the true 5.73 that it ends up being (effectively). I'm hoping that will be enough to keep the computer happy, if not I'm gonna have to do some custom programming that I don't currently know how to do, but there's only one way for me to learn!
cant do that! needs to match the front or ABS will go APE!Crazy idea that might actually work;
Take the tone rings and chisel every other tooth off of them, that will cut the "revolutions per mile" in half, then set the gearing in the computer as close as possible to 2.87...
Auto.Yours is auto trans? Or manual?
Yup, would have to do all the tone rings, Not just the rear... also no idea what kinda crazy things might happen to the fuel maps, and I have no idea how high (Numerically low) you can go with the Pro-Cal, it might bottom out at 3.54:1 which would be worse than the 5:38/5:73 difference.cant do that! needs to match the front or ABS will go APE!
