Yeah, we need to get @Snacktime back being the contrarian. There's a certain amount of lightheadedness that comes with highly engineered toys pitched by brains like Quinn. Definitely agree we need the shakedown on the ideas so we all get better.
He is definitely the contrarian and yes I find immense value in his questioning everything!

Yes, but have you ever winched up a hill in reverse?!? Almost nobody has! You could be the first in your neighborhood. Sweet! lol
Can not say that I have... Not sure I want to be the first to be winching down the hill either.

I have seen where someone mounted up a couple of receivers off the frame in front and had a mountable/dismountable winch that could be installed in minutes and taken off when not in use.... A lot of custom work but solves a bunch of problems.

I am a rear winch fanboy.
Steve @Valhalla has both front and rear now with his homemade custom rear bumper, I was trying to hang his bronco in the trees the last outing 😁

I am moving a little slower on some of mine. I am trying to force myself to take it slow. It is a real challenge. So I have the portals and rack tie rods, I went with the King 2.5s and ICON uca..... that is all here or on the way. Then I am thinking through the Rear control arms and pan hard, and relocation bracket. Leaning toward RPG but not totally sold yet. Then I have book marked the Next Venture armor.... Not even ordering until I get the rest installed and operating to my satisfaction. Sounds like you will be well ahead of me. Been looking at some trany pans and diff covers that allow me to change those fluids a lot easier. THEN after that is all together and I have a decent feel for how it is working together I am going to get the FP tune. OH... I did already install the RSE sliders and step.... My wife is 4'-10" That was my first install for obvious reasons. and I have added a few lights and my own fuse box/relay box and a GRMS radio to help pass the time while I waited.

Like I said before... You and I seem to think a lot alike.
Here's my zero experience advice on suspension. :)

I had two options in my head. I went with #2 because it was easier to get a trusted shop to do the install.
#1.
Kings with SDi universal active reservoirs, Icon tubular UCA, RockJock rear control arms and track bar.

#2.
Icon cdev stage 8 tubular.

I have probably spent way too much time going down that rabbit hole....

My take though is that Icon Set up is really really nice. Much more automated. Also probably way better for on road performance - while offering great off road performance. It will be a little firmer in the mid travel considering it is digressive, but it is that firmness that will be immensely beneficial on road.
