It shouldn't make a difference at all. It's just programming the wiper motor modules. Just happens that the easiest spot to connect to them is at the SCCM connector. It doesn't program the SCCM at all though.
All Broncos have the exact same wipers.
Shouldn't really matter. All we do is remove one of the connectors at the SCCM and plug a flash box in. Did you add it using Forscan? If that's all it is it shouldn't affect the recall. But that's not to say it won't affect it. I wouldn't worry about it

Yep, the only Bronco with rain sensing wipers from the factory is the sport.
Not that I've noticed so far. I had mine done 2 weeks ago and have seen plenty of rain. It's nice having wipers that work properly now.

I kid, except once in a driving rainstorm in Houston when I was in high school, driving my 82 F-250 Sherman Tank, the windshield wiper motor disconnected just as I went on a very tall highway exit and I literally hung out the window and pushed them while my buddy reached over and drove/steered, and my other (female) friend tried not to scream. ONE OF the scariest things that's every happened to me.
