They really need to know there was a problem. They buy their hardware prepackaged from a vendor. So their vendor screwed up.

We are making major steps forward in our quality control and processes as we continue to grow, we appreciate the input and will keep this in mind.

We've done a few videos of our use of this rack:

Talk to me about the mounting of the tent; hard to get hands in/under to secure tent brackets?

It’s not too bad. Depends on where you mount the tent. You can reach from the ends and it works fairly well.

I'm not sure if I just got lucky, however when I installed my TRMR this past weekend, I didn't have much trouble with the notorious 4 front windscreen bolts. It was tight, so I came up from the windshield side (make sure you leave the windscreen rather loose. As it moves up you can come in from the bottom for that bottom nut). For the upper nut, I was able to simply put it on and start slowly. A 10mm ratchet wrench is critical here.

Other than not actually including any hex screws and nuts for the chrome metal pieces that back behind the logo (I only installed the front one as you'd see into the mounting spot where the windshield meets the roof), and the lack of a step by step instruction, the installation was pretty easy. Took 2 people so I didn't scratch the Bronco, but wasn't too hard.

I agree with the others...this isn't a 2.5hr job like I hear some places say. This is a 4+ hour job.

Would like to ask, is there a significant difference in wind noise between roof rack with a cut-out and one without a cut-out? I don't want to install a light bar, but I prefer the low-profile look with a cut-out.Thanks

Sparse experience: but I had one roof rack without a cutout, and one with. The Trailrax with the "wind protector" was much quieter.

If you run the light bar cut out without a light bar in place of the cut out, you will experience additional wind noise than normal. This is due to the cut out allowing the wind to run between the roof and the rack as you drive and it is not exactly a fun noise/whistle to hear, but it is not obnoxious.

Depends on whether you want to run a light bar or not. My Heretic bar is still on backorder, so my rack does make more noise than I'd like, however it's really not that big of a deal. I cannot speak to how it sounds with a bar in place, however I don't find mine to be all that annoying.
