How was mounting the tent as far as getting under there to attached the mounting brackets? How is the road / wind noise driving at higher speeds? I have a Roofnest Falcon and on my Jeep the low profile rack made it a huge pain to get the RTT secured down.
Great info. Thank you!
I really am not seeing too many owners do remote locations for the coupler. I love the idea of NOT having to pop the hood for air up and down.
I assume wiring was simple, just hooking it up to one of the Aux Switches?
Slick. I want to do something similar with the location of the coupler. would prefer to NOT have to open the hood all the time. where did you pick up the longer run of steel hose for this?
So no TSB / Ford Fix yet? I cant have the dang window down when I am out enjoying a back country dirt road. Rattle is so had sounds like it might break.
and we have AZ registration and plates.....dealer sent the title to me with a cover letter, AZDMV has one form, took all the paperwork down to the DMV and it was easy peasy. they did under collect State Tax by $850 which I paid too.
this might be the best car buying experience i have ever had...
Just a minor snag maybe?
OH is a reciprocal (or whatever that's called) meaning they collected tax and will submit that to the AZ DMV. they forgot the temp tag at shipping and when I text the finance guy he emailed an OHIO temp tag. that seems wrong that they would issue me OH tags and make me...
are these the numbers for the rack or the MIC? meaning a higher rated afermarket rack is needed OR reinforcing the MIC is needed? Like with Jeeps you can add a Rhino Backbone system to increase capacity.
Is the OEM rack good enough for light overlanding? I would be mounting a Roofnest Falcon (160#) and traveling mainly dirt roads. No hard core off roading or rock climbing. I have a BadSas 4 door with no roof rack right now. Much thanks.
