That is awesome!! I assume its about the same under the rear diff?
And i would be definitely interested in those rims. Tucking everything in would be great plus limit the poke!!
Based on the alignment rack pic I think the bottom of the rear diff is even a little higher than the lower link brackets... cropped it to focus area:

Okay I forgot to measure everything today... but I did remember to at least stick a bucket under the rear shock bracket... the bucket is 14.5" (from memory, but measured) and it looks like I have 1-1.5" above that until I would hit it.. the lower link bracket is a couple inches more clearance, etc.

Also- since there are several other purchasers of 74weld portals checking this thread... I just wanted to mention I am making inquiries about getting some custom USA made, forged, monoblock beadlocks with more positive offset, enough backspacing to tuck everything, etc. I still have to see how much is too much + offset, etc. but I'm at least going down that path before I make another purchase of current offerings.
Definitely keep us posted on what you do with your wheels. That is interesting, would never have thought to get custom wheels made. Or that they could be made. 😁

Battleborn will do custom hubs, offset, and more! American made and in NV.

I need portals.... I am at 9.5" clearance on the braptor at the same point.. I haven't had issues getting hung up on anything, but another 5" would be unreal plus it would push my center clearance (rails/plates) to close to 28". The lower shock mounts and long arms are a problem area. The negative would be it would not fit in the garage anymore.

Sasquatch wheels are +35 offset and Ford Performance offers some Method Beadgrips in stock dimensions that I believe are not available through Method.

I think mine might be slightly different... Everything I have on the specs for these wheels says +30. I do not have the typical SAS wheels from the factory... I have the Black with White rim Heritage limited wheels. They are not even bead lock capable. BUT because of the aesthetics I do not want to change them out. I may have to get a second set of wheels for the rocks but for now I am keeping the "heritage limited" aesthetic.

I have a muse.... I fell in love with this rendering back in 2020 and it has been the look that I have been wanting ever since. I know it is just a rendering but it almost looks like it has portals.

I’m not familiar with the special run wheels. I’d be surprised if they were different, but 5mm would seem hardly noticeable except to engineers and regulators.
I read on here Raptor wheels are +34. I know they are F150 bolt pattern; just another reference point.
That render is awesome! and definitely looks like portals on the front. IFS doesn’t have ground clearance like that.

You have to remember that the Raptor is a different animal though. That front end has essentially a long arm suspension on it. It is already 8 inches wider than a typical Bronco.... That is why they HAD to add the 3 amber lights in the grill because of the width. If you were to add 7 inches to that width???? WOW! Width about that of a Semi truck....

any thoughts on how well these ford performance wheels will work with the 74weld portals in terms of interferences et al?

https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-1007K-BR1785

they're specced at 8.5X17/ +55 mm offset.

the standard badlands wheels are 8.0x17 / +55mm
and
the standard Squatch wheels are 8.5x17/ +30 mm

i've got a width constraint of 84" that i'm trying to meet,
so the additional 25 mm offset on each side helps

Sasquatch wheels are +35.
I’d also like to know about +55 fitment, keeping the track as narrow as possible. I’m interested to see what’s can be done with the custom wheels, too.

I have both. Basically the BL optional wheels and the sas wheels have the same backspacing, but the BL wheels are narrower, The difference in offset is the amount of width that is subtracted from the outboard side of the wheel

I should have clarified, 8.5 width +55 is what I was thinking I’d like to run on portals. It would save another ~1.6” in width over the Sasquatch wheels I have now.

ETA: I however keep looking at the Method bead grip as the wheel I want to run, so choice is limited. I’m glad the FP Methods exist so we have some more +35mm 8.5” options.

all the pictures i've found here show the sas wheels are +30mm

so i think the net width reduction (assuming you're starting with a Sasquatch badlands) would be 2 inches overall.

that's before adding ~ 7 inches of portal

I do not know if those will work or not but I am loving the idea and hoping they do!

You are right... that would pull my tires in about two inches (total - 1 inch per side) more than they will with the +30 wheels I have now.

This won't be applicable to most.. but because I have the double sheer heim steering links I am limited to less potential positive offset than others. Otherwise, from memory, you should have a lot of room to work with (2 or so inches).

This is a random pic I have of the front (bad angle.. but there is probably less than an inch between the inside rim of the wheel and my steering link hardware. The line in the pic is just the breather line. Wheel specs stated previously.
