So far it looks like both 74Weld portal broncos are confirming the -24 offset wheels which is a lot with the portal boxes stuck in-between. Hopeful that 0 offset wheels work as they are becoming the most popular offset for our platform.

Also, this video later on they literally show the rims they recommend, one of which I think is 0 offset. It's all about the fit of the caliper.

I just rewatched this... I think they mention the 0 offset wheel just to mention they could show the difference between 0 and +25mm. They mentioned the same wheel is offered in +25mm but the one they had on hand was 0.

I've got to read a lot more to pick my next set of wheels.

If you leave the funds invested long enough I'm sure the government will find a way to reappropriate it or retroactively remove any tax benefits ;D

I believe Quinn's stated they're closer to ~55mm thick with the gear width, which would make it a -55mm (give or take) offset to compensate if you want the tire to realign. (I don't recall the exact width, it was in a video.) I don't think the typical Bronco driver cares about these, but Quinn has said all along you want minimum +25mm offset rims, or greater, as long as the caliper fits. If you want taller, go with the competition. I'd prefer to fit in my garage.

I think 55 is the gear width.... The whole housing is about 90 mm.... That is about 52 mm narrower than what the "other" portal was.... (I think there might have been a redesign of those so I do not know what they are now). So that -90mm to get back to stock width has to factor in the offset of the original wheel... Which would mean in my case I would need a +120 offset....

I think I am going to have to live with the fact I will be wider than stock by about 7 inches (3.5 per side) at least that is still about an inch narrower than a Braptor.

Yeah, I couldn't remember. If you look at the 2dr in the videos, it doesn't look like they're that much out (maybe 2"?). I dunno.

2 door in the video (74 weld videos) is also running a 38x12.5 Nitto.

And running stock wheels which are +30 offset.... so actually +3.5 per side.... Exactly where I will be except my tire will bulge another 1/2 inch as a 13.5 width.

No... stock is nominally a 35x12.5 but it's actual measurements I think are closer to a 34x12.... The Nitto is nominal size is actually pretty close to measured size.... I would suggest it is ever so slightly wider than the Goodyear's on the SAS.

Isn't the stock Sas wheel offset +35mm? What is 52mm?

I believe that my SAS wheels are a +30.... I do have a "Heritage limited" but I thought that all SAS wheels were the same offset.

The +52..... Sorry Last I recall the competing portal was approximatly 5.5 inches wide (142 mm) which would be about 52 mm wider than the 74 weld portal at 3.5 inches wide. I could be wrong and I have had reason to believe the competing portal has been redesigned, and if so I do not know what the new width actually is. I do believe (based on the shape of the portal "box") that it is still running a 3 gear helical design.

Yeah, I wasn't ever referring to the ones Snacktime was showing (Tibus? ). I don't care about those, they're too tall. I'm only worried about the 74Weld. I had thought they were 45-65mm wide, that was my contribution.

Okay I forgot to measure everything today... but I did remember to at least stick a bucket under the rear shock bracket... the bucket is 14.5" (from memory, but measured) and it looks like I have 1-1.5" above that until I would hit it.. the lower link bracket is a couple inches more clearance, etc.

Also- since there are several other purchasers of 74weld portals checking this thread... I just wanted to mention I am making inquiries about getting some custom USA made, forged, monoblock beadlocks with more positive offset, enough backspacing to tuck everything, etc. I still have to see how much is too much + offset, etc. but I'm at least going down that path before I make another purchase of current offerings.

That is awesome!! I assume its about the same under the rear diff?
And i would be definitely interested in those rims. Tucking everything in would be great plus limit the poke!!
