Out of my budget currently but seriously cool. This is the kind of innovation I love to see, good work guys.

How complicated (or not) is the installation?

That is correct. The module that has the goat modes is not in the cluster but it does display.

Mud& Ruts / Eco are the 2 missing from the raptor.

We have just turned these off in ours. We never ever ever ever used ECO mode. Mud & Ruts is like you said similar to others so we were not missing much in our eyes.

The features it has for selecting your own gauges, the performance screen & others just makes the Bronco feel more premium like it should!
Just to be clear, could my Badlands have tow haul mode like a raptor with this cluster? It doesn’t sound like it. That would convince me to go with this if it was able to do that, even though that ridiculous looking four-door “bronco” shows up in the display. .

Great to see this…

Is the the dash plug and play or will it require some programming besides the modes?

About a 2.5/5

It will take about 90-120min

Basic hand tools required. Install instructions are on our site :)

There is no tow haul on the cluster that we found.

The cluster alone is well over $1200 from Ford!
You should find a new supplier.
Retail price is $928, there are even ford wholesale parts sites selling it for as low as $665 online 🤷‍♂️

Regardless, very cool that you guys have got this to work and made this kit for everyone

The drive modes are stored and programmed in the ABS module (as well as a handful of supporting modules, but ABS is the main one). When you want to switch to… say… Sport mode… that signal gets sent to the ABS module and the gauge cluster switches to show that you are in Sport mode.

The gauge cluster can only display the drive modes it has been programmed for, which is all of the drive modes that come standard in the Bronco Raptor. That’s why it cannot display the drive modes that are not included in the Bronco Raptor. Likewise it cannot add tow/haul to a Bronco because the gauge cluster itself doesn’t have the programming for the drive modes, it’s just a display. I actual functional components are in other modules throughout the vehicle.

I have looked into adding the Bronco Raptor ABS module into a normal Bronco but it won’t be a clean swap. In my opinion it’s one of those things that gives you very little benefit, and given none of it is covered by Ford’s warranty it just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

You should find a new supplier.

Yup… when I priced it out a few months ago can be done yourself for ~$1000. Cluster was hovering around $930 and the bezel was $45 I think.

What you’re paying for is the work someone put into figuring all of this out on the Forscan/FDRS side. Which given the amount of Forscan-related questions on this forum, I do think is valuable for a lot of people. But like most things, you can do it much cheaper yourself.

Last I saw, the one person on here that attempted this conversion as a DIY couldn't get it to work. I could be wrong, but I swear I saw that awhile ago. I also looked into different clusters that had the same plug on the back, but didn't go forward.

Very happy that someone has pulled this off, Not surprised at the cost, out of my budget range at the moment but this is now on my list.

And what does tow haul mode do? Anytime I hook up a trailer, the Bronco knows and goes into a towing mode where it disables blind spot alerts and shifts differently.
