I'd go back to the dealership and try to get them to warranty that. Plus the snake skin look in some of your pictures. That's unacceptable, IMO.

Almost looks like what happens to plastic when an air freshener lays on it. Hopefully it’s covered.

I can’t imagine it wouldn’t be.

My first thought was "weird hardtop issue"? Which one? We all have weird hardtop issue. :)

Looks like perhaps moisture got into the paper cells. God knows take it back because it's only going to get worse. The thing that I'm worried about the most with my Bronco long term is the HT, can you imagine if the HT's look like this when they are practically brand new what they will look like 5, 10 years down the road.

Do you park under any pine trees? One of our pines did a number on the paint and plastic of our car, sap ate into the surfaces. Ate into my friend's Wrangler flares before we realized what was going on. The sap is nasty. :(

Look at this, I don’t even know what it is. It looks like bubbles, but it’s rock hard.

Do you have any sealants like a ceramic coat on there? Certain sealants could do that to plastic if it's still offgassing

It looks more like a hardtop defect to me, but still worth asking

All painted surfaces are PPF’d. Nothing on the top.

Just asking, but was it always there, and you never noticed it? Or did it happen recently?

I just noticed it. However, I looked back at a pic from a month ago and it wasn’t there.

It’s possible somebody put or laid something on your top. Still thinking air freshener. Those things just destroy plastic, similar to your damage. Did you have any type of work done recently where you left it somewhere?

No. I find it incredibly unlikely that some random guy reached up to a roof above his head to drag an air freshener across it for no reason. Lol

It hasn’t been anywhere since way before this.
