Ford pass not showing current location

Picked up our Braptor last night and activated it on the ford pass app. When I select it in the app it has only shown the location when it was at the dealer and when it is at our house. When my wife goes anywhere it just keeps showing it at home and the message will say something like location last updated 48 minutes ago. Does this app require a wi-fi connection to be active on the braptor? What am I missing.

Check the data sharing options in your setting in the truck to make sure you have the right ones enabled to offer up the location.

FWIW my (non-Braptor) MY23 BL, High, pretty consistently shows the *previous* position the vehicle was last parked and almost never the *current* position. So if I go out for a drive and the last place I stop is a neighborhood that is miles away that's what shows. Just looked at it now to check and it says it's parked at what would be Manny's Deli which is where I took my wife to lunch after her Dr. appt last Thursday - then we drove home. Now in my case my final parking is 3 floors underground in a high-rise building's garage so I understand why there's be no handshake but, at least IME, there doesn't appear to be any ongoing data refresh between the vehicle and Ford Pass. Just passing on a data point; for those of you NOT parking in underground bunkers I got nothin'.

Not here it doesn't. Just checked; the address shown is the last place I parked (across the street from Manny's) before coming home.

The only time mine hasn't shown correctly is when it was in an area that I knew it did not have a good AT&T cell signal. Mine has worked correctly otherwise.

Played so more with mine last night. If I swipe down multiple times it will eventually refresh the location. Certainly doesn't work as good as life360 or find my friends that shows the location in real time. You would think when you open it that it would actually show the current location and not force a refresh.
