High Mount Winch Plate installed on Capable Bumper

Getting around to working on the wife’s Wildtrak. Been looking for a mount that checked all my boxes with things like sensors and camera relocation, high & tight mount, bull bar, etc.

Are there any reinforcements to the plates at the end of the frame horns? Those are known to bend when used for recovery. The mount adds a lever to to the mix which is only going to torque them more.

I’d say no more or less than the Ford Performance model when installed. The winch mounting brackets are pretty beefy at the mounting point.. Additional the recovery point is directly in line with the mounting point and frame, so the force should be transferred directly and not at a leveraged angle like some of the other offerings I’ve seen the last couple years. This is the first one that fit what I was personally looking for. The capable bumper has been the red-headed step child of development.

Love the color! Very clean install. I like what you did with the lights.
I’ve got a set of bar clamps and KC Pro Gravity 6 for the bull bar, but I kind of like what you did. I could put the KCs on the pillar.

How did you get the camera bracket behind the plate mount?
Mines sandwiched between the fairlead and the mount. It wouldn’t line up with the holes when I tried to put it behind. It conflicted w/ the badland fairlead.so I ground off the letters, buffed it, and flipped it.
