I've been having a lot of fun doing more aggressive trails. My rock sliders are dented and the armor I added is already pretty well scraped. I could see getting hung up and I don't always go with other vehicles. So, I have adaptive cruise control and want to mount a front winch. Has anyone used the Rough Country High Winch Mount? Any big issues with install or the cruise control sensor? Are there other recommendations?

The high winch mount has the standard 4.5" x 10" bolt pattern for a 9500 or larger winch. What size/brand is most recommended? Warn? I want to get the minimum winch that will do the job. I like keeping the weight down.

Thanks.

Im waiting for their tubular bumper, with winch mount AND camera relocation kit to arrive this week (hopefully).
I chose this one due to the fact they say it doesn’t interfere with any of the 360 system.
I’ve chosen a warm evo 12s winch after doing a lot of research.
I had to email them to find out what the actual weight is, and the difference between the 8 or 10 versions, apparently they all worth the same, 57lb, which is lighter than the others I was looking at too

I have the Rough Country hidden winch. They gave me great customer service, but they dont have the best reputation. Their bash plate and winch mount are showing wear and tear that other better brands are not showing on my rig. In short they use lower quality steel.

You may want to pay a bit more but look at ADD, DV8, Lobo or others since your really pushing your rig. Next Venture makes some great stuff too.

Rough Country to me is entry level, and your not using the rig that way.
