If the ford capable bumper and modular bumper had a baby that would be the bumper. I think it looks similar to stock from all the other ones I’ve seen.
Certainly, it's made in USA and has a license plate brand name sticked right in front.

My Turn Offroad rear bumper fit well, priced right and looks good. Was overly impressed for what I paid.

My DV8 front was cantankerous to install. 3" light fitment was not great (bolt in spots are just off 1/4"). I am most likely going to cut it up some more. Haven't wacked it enough to say yes or no on strength. Not as beefy as I would have liked.

One thing I noticed on the turn offroad rear bumper is that it sits very high and really exposes the rear cross member, including the bolts for the hitch mount. At least that's how it looks on their website.

Does it stand out at all to you? Have any pictures of your install?

No install photos as I threw it on in 15 minutes, then later pulled it off and wired the lights in. It's 6 bolts since I don't have any parking sensors!

My issues are the stock exhaust and trailer hitch. I plan to french in my hitch and build a strike plate for the spare. Then add a rough country exhaust with a muffler. From most angles neither is really noticable. I have yet to hit my muffler, I have tried since I have to wreck it to buy a new one.

I have zero pictures of it in use, go figure.

@Snacktime I'm impressed with the Turn Offroad Rear Bumper. Your endorsement is key. For the price is seems amazing, including the rear light pods. How are the rear light pods wired in? Their install video doesn't cover that.

Also, how did you create your avatar? Is that AI generated? It's very slick.

I’ve been looking at BAMF Overland front bumper. I am looking for strong, heavy and winch capable. They seem to check the boxes. Also I like that their powder coat is field repairable.

A little pricey but not bad for what you get. Wish I lived closer to take advantage of $250 savings on local pickup!

I saw a thread where someone mentioned 25% off. I suspect that’s a Black Friday sale or sorts. If they run that deal again, I’m pulling the trigger.

I was also looking at their front bumper. With skid plate, bull bar and winch plate it had a very attractive price IMO. Winch is more exposed which has various + and -‘s. Design is similar to BAMF.

Things that concern me. Saw another thread where they said product is designed & engineered in USA but manufactured overseas. Assume steel is China grade as well, which isn’t always equal.

Additionally their website has conflicting info on material thicknesses. One area says 3/16 (0.1875) and 1/4 (0.25). Then a little lower they say 6 gauge (0.1943) and 8 gauge (0.1644) steel. In fairness I haven’t talked with them so I am not jumping to any conclusions. I am just confused to what I’m getting.

I prefer the stronger steel but even if it’s the weaker version it may still be a good bang for the buck.

I went with the Havoc front bumper and DV8 High clearance in the rear.

I own the JCR Crusader front bumper and have for about six months now.

The fog mounting locations have brackets that are not centered or angled. The light will not sit flush or line up to project forward without losing 1/5 or so to the bumper itself. The wiring was clearly an afterthought as there is no good place to run it without seeing it sit between the bumper and the body, which usually wound't be an issue, but the center bar has nowhere to go with the radiator and intercooler right in the front.

It's even worse with the center light bar, which is held up with just the screws that come from the light manufacturer. They have no way to use the brackets that come with the light that they designed the bar around. The bracket they made has no backing and the only thing holding that light bar in place is the force of the screw sandwiching the light. That wouldn't be a big deal but the brackets are too far apart, so you have about 1/4 inch total of gap between the light and the brackets they built into the bumper. On top of that, the bracket they made has no back, it's just a c-shaped slot, so one good push or a strong bump and it's driven into your intercooler.

With that in mind I'd be concerned about a winch and adding the complexity that entials.

I need to point out, these are Baja Design squadron pro lights, and a Baja Designs s8 light bar, top end lights. Not amazon specials. This is the company that I was told they use to design for and plan around.

The fit and finish on the Crusader, as well as a few other items I've gotten from them, is not what you expect from a professional company, even at the lower price point. I genuinely think it hurts the appearance of my Bronco as time goes by. I do not plan to keep the Bronco for much longer or I would replace all of it due to appearance and design choices that in my opinion make it look cheap.

I'm currently fighting their tailgate table. That is a totally different conversation, but the gist of it is they seem to have issues with quality control and making a high quality, consistent product.
I really appreciate this feedback. I was considering their bumpers for the combination of simple looks and price.

I also struggled with their tailgate table mightily. I sent them pictures showing caliper measurements of the tabletop being thicker than the slots it was meant to sit in. They eventually send me a new top and molle piece (already partially assembled as quality check, which I appreciated). I still struggled with a few other aspects of their design and installation, but overall I’m reasonably happy with the end result.

The thickness has been acceptable, haven't done enough wheeling to find the weak point. My rear Turn rear is 1/8" in the wings. BAMF makes a tank of a bumper. Turn is much higher clearance so there is a trade off.

I wired the rear lights to a aux switch and had to supply the wiring(I used zip ties to secure everthing). On a side note they are just as bright as my Nilight $25 3" cubes which are also a hold over. For the price point it was nice to be able to have lights that fit and not have to spend more money to make it look finished.

Avatar is from a guy on Instagram, its not free lol. In order for this to be a real B6G thread I will now go off topic. Made some Halo stickers!

Hey everyone!

I’ve got a 23 badlands Sasquatch that I was hoping to slap a bumper on. I’ve seen both threads up top with all of the options, and I have tried searching through all of the posts for answers. I am curious, is there a fan favorite currently or a top 3 that most people seem to go with for overall looks/usage.

I don’t need a winch but do prefer something modular or capable of adding to it. Thank you!
I have been super happy with BAMF and 10s winch and light setup. I'm moving to desert and might sell and build more of a desert setup. If anyone is interested let me know. In Seattle. 6 bolts and easy swap over. Perfect condition not a scratch comes with powder to easily fix if you scratch it. Thermoplastic powdercoating is awesome!

Here are my JCR bumpers installed overall I like them but getting it some of the bolts are a challenge…the light mounts are too high for most pod lights to fit down in the holes (shortened the brackets on the lights)…the tube work or the bumper needs to come off to get the winch on/off…but otherwise good quality and I like the look…bonus photo of sliders…
