2024 production?

Hey guys!
Has anyone heard any updates as to when they are supposed to start building 24’s? I saw somewhere in this thread November 1st was mentioned, however, I wanted to see if anyone has gotten any more updates from their dealer? I reached out to mine and haven’t heard back. I’m incredibly eager to have my build enter production as i will be a first time bronco owner.

Lol, Nov 1st. The strike just ended yesterday and they have 6 weeks of lost MY23 production to make up for. It will most likely be the end of December before the MY switchover is made.

With the back log of 23 left to finish and build starts, I would not be surprised if the MY 24 did not kick off till after the new year. We still have a Wildtrak in build status since 6/23.

Model years may not contain Jan 1 twice. So, thye have to change over before 1 jan

Well, I guess I’ll revise my guess as to when the MY 24 will start to the end of December but before Jan 1, 2024

I'm wondering if the 23 people will get told to order a 24. Last, I heard if your 23 didn't get built you would have to reorder. That was before the strike though. Everything is up in the air and it is just a waiting game for everyone to see what Ford says now. Hopefully everyone will work out for those with 23s and 24s.

A "model year" can be up to two years long, but cannot span January 1 twice.

So, let's say you start Model year 23 on December 1 2022. You can then make 2023s up to the last day of December in 2023. You can't continue past Jan 1 2024. You are not allowed to have January 1 2023 and January 1 2024 in the same model year.
