With all do respect to all union workers here, you folks that want to do a good job, are getting equal pay to those that don’t give a shit. I would have a problem with that!

As a non-union worker all my life, I have no regrets. Sometimes when you find you’re working for a loser employer, it’s just time to move on. This has always been not only to my benefit, but to the benefit of all the “workers”.

GM and Ford had plants. Mack Truck is gone. Even VW which runs non union facilities got run out of town.

Instead, where are the major foreign plants? In the deep South, in right to work states, not a union in sight unless you count the Teamsters that haul the product

Speaking of Powell, he basically said the Fed will raise rates, which means mortgage (and car finance) rates will go up. More people will remain renters, and keep driving their current ride. So look for rents and the price of used cars to go up.

Funny how housing, energy, food, and even used cars are not included in the cost of living/inflation calculations. They're too "volatile" or something.

I've seen a reference to Stellantis as the one of the big three most likely to be singled out. I just got my allocation and build date, so I sure hope, very selfishly, it isn't Ford.

• Analysts say Stellantis is the most likely target after Fain recently threw the company's proposal in the trash on a Facebook Live.

My 2023 2-door Wildtrak had a July 21st blend date per the window sticker, as of today it's still in production. Live Chat with Ford Marketing team several times and they can't tell me why it's not progressing to Built and Ship. If UAW go on strike who knows when I'll get it. Very disappointed.

Does not mean anything. Mine was "in production" until the day after I drove it off the lot...
