Bone stock on 38s.

As far as I have seen.......... it is. It may have one of his racks on it, but suspension wise it's stock, no chop on the fenders.

When he portaled his 392 he showed a 5 gal bucket under the axle. I'm surprised he didn't with the Bronc. I'm sure it would fit.

I have a 5 gal bucket in my driveway i use for washing my vehicles. When my portals are done I will make a point to park on top of it, and post a pic here!

Hey @Bmadda and @5GENIDN what are you planning for your spare?
I dont think just a reinforcement for the tailgate is enough, so I would like to get a bumper with tire carrier that will hold up to a 40"
Worried about departure angle and would like it to piviot with the tailgate, but worried about the tailgate not being able to handle the abuse off road, so is an independent swing with a lock better?
Looking at:
Expedition One
Reaper Off Road
LOD
Road Armor ( cant find tire size limit)

Any thoughts?

Any and all help really appreciated.

For all you portal buyers, I will travel to purchase your 4.70 axles with lockers. Lowest bidder wins of course.

Why would I sell my diff gears? I will retain the diff and the gears in it. The Portals are down stream of the Diff.

Because some will be upgrading axles at the same time.
Don’t get cheap on me now.
D44s and D60s going to turn those 40s a lot better than factory.

Well I am in a bit of a unique position.... I want to change the rear bumper but I do not.... I have a heritage limited. I want to keep it looking stock. I do not plan on going to 40's.... I am thinking 38s.... But you are right that will take additional reinforcement to even hold that weight.... There are a couple of tail gate reinforcements that replace and upgrade the tailgate hinges as well. I am thinking about and considering those.... I am also considering whether I want to paint them REB or not.... Have not decided. I have a while. My portals will not be ready until about November or so....

Well the 74 weld "Kit" includes 35 spline axles... but it does not change the diff gears or get rid of the locker.... in fact it actually lowers the stress on those parts. They will hold up better than they would with stock tires.... Less stress on them.

Thats cool with the Heritage and keeping it true!
Mine is an FE. I am probably only going to a 38 as well, but if I am upgrading I would like to have some room to move up if I want to in the future.
I know there is time until the portals come but with everything taking so long would rather be ahead and have the setup ready.
