HOSS 3.0 Lift options?

Question, and sorry if already covered, but I like the orange RPG lift. I just want it level and see RPG has different sizes front and rear. Will the 1.5 front with nothing in rear level it? Not looking for any additional lift (at this time), just to level it off. Thanks.

@colonelburke 1 inch will likely do it but I’d measure front and back to determine the rake. Based upon on forum reading, appears to typically be .75 to 1in

Note that after adding 180lbs rear bumper/tire carrier, I lost 1” in rear.

With adding 170 lbs bumper/winch I lost .6” in front. I'm at ~.5' rake currently.

Suspensions stiffness has increased noticeably. I don’t believe perch collars are an option anymore, as they’ll further compress and stiffen the ride. I believe my best option is upgraded/adjustable coil overs to regain height, add lift, and smooth the ride back out…

Keep in mind depending on your plans…

True, but it won't help the suspension or restore the ride either. Not a fan of body lifts and the gaps it leaves...especially bumpers and rock sliders. I took a lot of time considering my aftermarket parts for a tight/high clearance/functional fit.

.75 is not that much rake either. Coming from an F150, I may not level it at all for the time being. Thanks for the info.

That's one of the main reasons I got the WT with the HOSS 3.0.
I'm not going to mess with collar lifts and mess up the ride/handling. At the most, I might do a 1/2" body lift just to get a little more clearance.

Exactly my point as 37's are part of my goal. If you're not adding the weight of bumpers/winch and weight in general, HOSS 3.0 is tuned great for STOCK (a little soft in the rear). You can add perch collars/spacers without impacting the ride much per other threads. I added bumpers/winch per my plan, it was unknown how Fox would handle the weight as the suspension is too new... It still rides slightly better than SAS currently, not the Fox wow factor it had, but any additional lift via perch collars or spacers, with the weight, will surely impact the ride too much. Unless someone comes out with heavier/taller springs for these, I'll have to do coil overs to reach my target state w/37's.

I had originally ordered a Badlands, when this WT fell in my lap...it was a toss-up which to keep when the Badlands finally got built. I'm still happy with my decision, I have the Raptor rack and tie rods for the 37's goal, but stinks I'll likely have to ditch the HOSS 3.0 Fox's if nobody delivers on a spring upgrade in the next couple months.

Something to think about when using perch collars or any type of lift that compresses the spring to achieve lift, lifting this way reduces your negative travel, this affects the suspensions ability to conform to dips and uneven surfaces in the road/trail, you will feel every dip and hole in the road if you reduce it too much, instead of your wheel dipping down into the uneven surface it sill basically skip over it and hit the other side. I think Strut Spacers is the best wat to lift but then if you try to go too high you then have potential issues with CV and tie rod angles.
