Ambient lighting

Anyone else having issues with the ambient lighting in the footwell? I will turn mine on then a couple days later it keeps resetting off and will have to turn it back on. I brought it to the dealer when I had an oil change done and surprise, surprise they said NPF.

Not a huge issue but it’s just annoying

I found this happens if I reset the audio unit by holding the power button and track forward buttons. I was doing this fairly regularly you get Android Auto to connect, and it would switch off ambient lighting every time.

I just use rock lights in the footwells. Wired to auxiliary switch, any color and can change brightness with app.

Ive noticed mine will turn off sometimes as well. I think it has to do with headlight settings. I leave mine in auto position but sometimes Ill change it. That seems to be the only thing that makes sense.

This has happened once in the 7 months I've had it, and I think it happened pretty early on.
Not sure what may have caused it, but it has not happened in a while...

Yes. Happened on my 22 Badlands and happens now on my 23 Wildtrak. Haven’t noted the frequency or time between when it decides to shut off. I just know I notice it off occasionally and have to go back into settings to turn it back on. I leave my lights on auto.

I'm curious to see if they find the cause as this happens to me too. Other items that have occurred frequently is Andriod Auto won't connect and front camera would randomly black out.

That said, camera and AA haven't really had any issues in a good amount of time. I honestly don't know if my ambient lighting is still having the same issue as its been daylight outside when I leave for work. Fixing to hit a long road trip and will probably be able to see how the ambient lighting does.

my AA will freeze the screen at random. I just disconnect bluetooth on my phone and reconnect and it clears up

Mine did it once too, I had just assumed I shut it off like an idiot... although that may still be the case.

I'm having the same issue. I thought it was from resetting the system, but it happens randomly.
