HELP!! need to remove the CCV line to double oil catch can

Our local Ford dealer provided us with part number MB3Z-6758-J for the CCV hose.

My only brainstorm idea is to find a joiner fitting from your local auto/hardware store and join the two catch can hoses together (skipping the catch can). It's not an ideal option, but trying to think outside the box given the national backorder for the Ford OEM CCV hose.

I bought one of each. Went on super easy on the old hose. Use a blow dryer or heat gun for a few seconds and the old ones come off easy.

Any update on this issue... 2023 Bronco Wildtrak with the 2.7L - got a CEL after installing the dual can setup from Mishimoto... same P051B code as others.

I believe this is a Ford issue, not a Mishimoto issue. Ford just released this SSM this morning.

I believe this was brought up before and is a different code.🫤 I went back to stock tube on CCV side and so far so good. If you have a 23, I still suggest the single can, as the PCV side is much more important anyway.

Hey @Ducati1098 - Good find. This might resolve everyone's issues! I dig some digging through this thread and everyone who has had an issue, their first post included the P051B number. Fingers crossed this helps resolve the issue for 2023+ 2.7L owners.

Has anyone that has installed the Mishimoto catch can started getting Check Engine light for P051B for Crankcase Pressure Circuit? I did a little research and found in another forum someone with a Raptor started having the same issue and eventually just removed the catch can. It only comes on when the engine starts. If I reset the code I am good for about a week and then it will randomly come on again when I start the engine.

Just today my engine light came on. Says it's the CCV sensor. I also have the dual catch cans. I've had them on for over a thousand miles and today the light came on. Also had to break one end of the stock hose to get it off, I through it away.🫤

So, those of us that had this issue and went back to stock CCV, will basically wait and see if engine light comes on again, them take it to dealer for the upcoming fix. Then could possibly go back to dual can . So far, mine has been good with stock tube. Wait and see, I guess.🫤

It's a little too late for me. I returned mine months ago and the customer service I received from @Mishimoto was not very good. No one knew what was going. I received a different answer every time I called in. The return was not any better. After two weeks they were still saying they were waiting to create an RMA number for it and even the vendor was getting the run around from them and the vendor eventual just refunded me out of their own pocket to make sure I was taken care of. Even if this does get fixed with a software update I don't think I would go with your setup again just do to the crappy customer service that I experienced.

Does this mean if Tech determines aftermarket mod caused P051B, repair not covered under warranty?
