Your best option in my opinion
I removed Mishimoto CCV side hoses and went back to OEM CCV hose and P051B code has not returned
I’ve gone over 2,000 miles since the swap back to OEM
Note: TSB warranty coverage language warranty “coverage limits are determined by the identified casual part”
Does this mean if Tech determines aftermarket mod caused P051B, repair not covered under warranty?
Agreed
The more forum CEL lite P code info that can be found and posted here for the dual can catch system CCV issue, the sooner this issue can be resolved
My dual catch can system CCV side resulted in a P051B Code on my 23 Badlands 2.7.
Removed Mishimoto CCV side hoses and replaced with OEM CCV hose
Code gone
Gave driven over 350 miles
Still no code
I agree
Keep us advised on how Mishimoto responds
I think all of us 2023MY Bronco customers with CCV CEL code issues after Mishimoto dual catch can system installs deserve the same refund terms
Thank again for your updates
I did the same delete on CCV side and replaced Mishimoto CCV hoses with OEM hose
Have driven over 200 miles and code has not returned
I’ve also been working with Damien as well.
I’ll request that Damien resolve my code issue like he did for you
Thanks for the update
Can bottoms were separate from tops when delivered
Assembled can bottoms to tops and tightened
Still tight
Not sure what brincorik meant by drain, I saw no drains in the CCV side catch can system
Thx for the comment tho
Still waiting for Mishimoto to get back to me
Hi John
I’ve emailed your customer service group regarding my 2023 Bronco Badlands 2.7l CEL (P051B).
Damien has been my contact
Hope you guys figure this issue out and can support the Bronco community
The issue seems be trending up.
I’m getting the same Ford Pass Alert after installing...
