Hello folks. Sorry if its been asked, but hunting through threads trying to find this specific question is becoming a bit tedious.

With a 1.25" spacer and factory SAS wheels in mind, do the wheel studs need to be trimmed to clear the back of the wheel? I know there is no issues on 1.5", but Im trying to get as close to 0 offset as possible, so 1.25 should be the sweet spot.

Thank you

I currently run hub centric wheel spacers that are 1.25” on factory Sasquatch wheels. Fits fine. 0 offset and 1.25 are practically identical.
Before the spacer police join the chat, I’ll add a few remarks about my experience with wheel spacers. I’m running mine as a band aid until I decide on wheels as I need clearance for my aftermarket suspension. I drove 2k on my wheel spacers and did 4 days straight of hard off-roading in Moab with jumps, whoops at 55mph and lots of 6/10 trail running. The spacers did ok. That being said, even with loctite and a retorque they had started to come loose. So be careful and check them often. Personal recommendation is to switch to 0 offset wheels when able. But until then run spacers and just maintain them.

I have 1" spacers on my non-SAS w/o issue. I'm not 100% sure but I do believe the SAS wheels have the same void on the back side as the non-SAS wheels, you should be good.

Sweet, exactly what I needed to know, ty.

And PS: Not worried about the spacer police. Half of them have no conception that the bearing load is equal with offset, not how you get to said offset. A true 0 offset wheel provides as much additional load as a spacer that gets you to 0. That being said, yea sure you could say it's an additional point of failure, but again, really not much difference from properly checking/re-torquing a wheel. meh.
