After waiting 2 years and 3 months. I finally got my Bronco from Windward Ford in Oahu, Hawaii. Drove it for 1,700 miles and brake pedal went to the floor and I had to take evasive action to stop my truck (e-brake). Symptoms- Flashing red brake light, ABS light, two different aural warnings at the same time, Hill start assist warning, antilock brake fault, and precollision assist not available. I shut it down and started it back up. No joy. Called the dealership twice and emailed with no response. I went on the forums and one likely issue was a loose wheel speed sensor. I found a wheel speed sensor that I could get 3/4 of a turn on. Brakes worked for another 25 miles and went out again. This time if I pushed the pedal with both feet, I could get it to stop, but the brakes would lock up no matter what speed. Brought it to the dealership and they said they would fast track it and let me know. The service dept employee told me no loaners were available and the guy that approves rental cars is sick that day. I got a ride home and they called saying its a power brake booster, they will get one in around five days and will let me know an update on Friday. Its Friday. No word. I called. No answer. Happy Easter M.F. (my friend).
