Yeah I don’t agree with this statement. Everyone I talk to that has OBX, wanted one. I know many that wanted one and settled on a different trim. I think the most common settled on trim was the Big Bend. I have a Badlands, which I waited for 2yrs, so I have no dog in the fight. And yes, I’m a female that was never interested in OBX,99% of the Broncos I've seen on the road are OBX moredoor soft top non sas with high package (yes you can tell which package from a quick glance). I'm sure it's a personal choice to pick that trim level and options, but I also think dealerships pushed people to select this trim level with these options or had them change their order to get their vehicles faster. It's no coincidence that the majority of owners (I have seen) have the same build. 3 month wait sounds alot better than 1-2 years. I predict in couple years when production turns around (hopefully) you're gonna see alot of these obx's on resale lots. Owner is selling to get another one and order what they truly wanted from the beginning.
Meant Hoss 3.0 which wasn’t a thing in 2021. Ie the 2021 loaded WT and loaded OBX sas were equals. In 2022 the HOSS 3.0 became an option on the WT then standard in 2023. Thus making the price increases on the WT incrementally greater than the OBX and cementing it as the higher trim with more equipment. But back in 2021 the difference between a loaded sas OBX vs WT was no more than a styling choice. All Bronco's have HOSS.
But the badlands is the most capable technically ( besides the more capable Raptor)Not sure why most of the trims would be purchased. I think Ford has too many trim levels on the Bronco, and surely production teams can't like that!
I get base trim for those that just want a cheap Bronco, and top-of-the-line Wildtrak for those that want the most capable.
Stock from the factory is pedestrian is what I stated. Once you install a lift and and increase the tire size it no longer is pedestrian. Never said it wasn’t as capable as any other model, just pointed out that one either options the Sasquatch or pays for aftermarket to make the OBX a stunner. I have always said if the OBX model fit my required usage. The interior options are what I did not like. In my case doing the math the Bad Lands had the features and the look . Enjoy your sweet ride.Non-Sasquatch OBX... Too pedestrian.

So pedestrian...
Absolutely SG, but keep in mind, that comment is coming from a guy who's been waiting 3 years for his "real Bronco" order to come through.Really hilarious comment. We're all rolling on the floor over here.

Can you get a Sahara with a rear locker and 4.27 gears?Outer banks is the bronco version of the Sahara wrangler. Its the “street” version of the model with the most cosmetic/comfert appeal. In plain words…its the mall crawler trim that will sell the most.
IMO the wheel size sucks. (18"x7.5") It really limits the tire sizes/types available. My observation...
The standard OBX take-off wheels/tires are all over FB Marketplace and Craigslist. More than any other trim (except base steelies with 30" tires). You can relatively easily get 5 Wheels/Tires/TPMS for under $500, under $400 if you look hard enough or can do a little light negotiation.
What is that?
1. People don't like the wheel/tire combo?
2. They upgrade wheels/tires immediately to get the "look" of a Sasquatch?
I don’t think it’s gonna be just a bunch of used OBX‘s on the lots soon. When all these soccer moms and soft office hands dads who bought a Bronco b/c it was new and cool realize that this is a truck and they figure out what a Wildtrack 35” SAS tire weighs as they wait for AAA to come change it for them, they’ll rush back to their Volvos and Land Rovers in a hot sec. At least the Rover has a refrigerator in the center console that they didn’t know they couldn’t live without.99% of the Broncos I've seen on the road are OBX moredoor soft top non sas with high package (yes you can tell which package from a quick glance). So what, I’ve seen plenty of Badlands wheels for sale on here as well. Some guy in LA had a set of 4 for $250 a few months ago. I agree the OBX wheels are the not appealing part of the trim, but wheels are probably the most modded part of any Bronco trim. If I change mine it won’t be to put on 35s (would’ve just paid for SAS and got rid of the crap tire that comes with it) but to get to more of a 17 inch 33 look.My observation...

Just double checking that you have base manual 2-door with minimal options.I don’t think it’s gonna be just a bunch of used OBX‘s on the lots soon. Nevertheless, those people are needed. As I’ve surmised before, Ford wouldn’t be making a Bronco if it was just for “off-road enthusiasts“ since there aren’t enough of them to make it profitable. And the best part is that, in a few years, there’s gonna be some sweet deals on some cherry rides for the off-roaders to scoop up.
This is my Bronco at my son's Soccer practice. Best soccer mom car there!I don’t think it’s gonna be just a bunch of used OBX‘s on the lots soon.
