2.3L Bronco completely dead

I picked up my Bronco on 1Feb23, on 13Feb23 it was completely dead, no accessories, nothing.

I had to have my Bronco, with intransits still on, drug out of my garage and onto a flatbed(couldn’t even shift into neutral). After 3 days the dealership said the Gateway Module (GWM) needed to be replaced. Then yesterday’s they tell me the GWM is back ordered with no ETA. It's been at the dealership for 10 days and counting. Any have this happen?

Can’t help with your main issue. However, the owners manual shows how to get the automatic transmission into neutral when the vehicle is “dead”.

Unfortunately the vehicle was dead and I couldn’t use the owners manual. The dealership did not provide the hard copy manual at time of purchase. It was shipped to me this week.

IMHO the electronics need to be scaled back in these vehicles. I know it’s not going to happen but they need to knock the nanny shit off and keep to the basics for an off road ready vehicle.

2.7 had the same problem 2 weeks ago gateway was bad. AZ dealership took 3 days to have it back on the road. Hopefully they find you one soon

Oh yeah…Duhhh!! I have a copy downloaded on my iPad and so far that’s been with me while off-roading. I need to remember that.
