FWIW, "My dealer said" that they were told that order banks would re-open 3/27. She said she wasn't too confident in that, but again -- FWIW.

:) 🍻 :)

And she did re-iterate that they were also told -- no MIC, no SAS, no Wildtrak.

Does removing the three constraints some how give you better priority? I think you can only move down to priority 10 by the dealer. I read in another thread that some people who made the change are now priority 2 and were previously priority 19.
It's been said before, dealer priority codes are not being used for Broncos.

I agree. High package still has the 12 inch screen and 360 camera. And costs $2200 less.
I wonder what part of the Lux package is causing the issue? I would automatically think the 12-in screen but obviously that's not it since the high package is okay.
I'd bet on it being ACC or possible even B&O system. If it wasn't the only way to get heated steering wheel I could likely do without all the other stuff there.

Well, since I have a Badlands with a HT, may just drop my WT down to soft top if that 1 change is truly eligible to get the $2500 and then swap tops from BL to the WT If/when WT comes in.

Just posted on Bronco Nation's forums by DDM4. The constrained items that must ALL be removed are MIC Top, Lux Package and Sasquatch Package (in order for non-Wildtrak customers to receive $2500 and risk not being produced in 2023MY).

What if yours has been built but is stuck in chip hold purgatory? If I find a stock one for an amenable price can I get this credit to let go of the Bronco I allegedly have waiting at the plant?

I wonder what part of the Lux package is causing the issue?
Given the "All 2023s get a subwoofer....just kidding no they don't!" mess from a few weeks ago, I'd bet the issue is related to the audio system.

Any official word on when we have to change our order to be eligible for the $2,500?

no. If you have a VIN or its been built, none of this applies to you.

Which is clearly wrong, since Ford has another 8 months of scheduling for 2023. Ford is not completely out of those parts. The situation is essentially the same as it has been since they started building in 2021. Sas/Lux/MIC tops are well short of the order mix.
Less than 8 months. They are already scheduled out to the end of March. My raptor is scheduled for March 13th and I’ve seen screenshots posted of last week of March.

The TC video indicates that there are some 78K unfulfilled reservations. Folks, we aren't getting the truck we want.

FORD never had any intention on filling these orders. They caved to high volume dealers and dealer stock. Reservations were for hype. And it worked. But we were merely a tool for them.
I’m starting to believe this is correct…. And after reading most of this thread I have to finally chime in.

After the long wait, ups a downs, etc. I have a vin and window sticker. My two door, Lux, manual Badlands is being built now. And my dealer already has it listed on their website for sale! It does say in transit.

Anyway, called Ford marketing a few minutes ago to confirm the price protection for this vehicle and to understand how it works. I ordered 2/21 just before the initial reservation cutoff. So according to the Ford website I should get $3,425 off the MSRP, right? Guess what I was told…

The woman I talked to explained to me first that MSRP is exactly that. And that the dealer can, of course, sell the car to me for any price they like. That wasn’t shocking or surprising, although disgusting. Then she told me that the price protection was also just a suggestion from Ford to the dealer and that the amount could be up to $3,425. And that the dealer didn’t have to honor it all! I asked her if she could give me the accurate price protection amount. She said it was up to the dealer!

I am absolutely flabbergasted. It’s strange to want a vehicle from a company that I now detest. This would be my first Ford. I mean I have sort of golden ticket at this point, because my Bronco is in production. But still, after two years of this and not knowing what to expect going into the dealer, damn, I don’t know. This is no way to do business. I guess if my dealer does the right thing I’ll take it and be happy rolling around in my cool Bronco all the while telling everyone how bad Ford is. I won’t pay some ridiculous ADM and I expect the price protection as it was promised. Again, what a horrible experience.

I sent an email to my dealer (one of many) to confirm the MSRP sale along with the price protection. They agreed to it in our back and forth emails a while ago. They refused, when asked, to put anything in writing beyond what was agreed to via email. So, we shall see.

I guess you’re right, the reservation system was all pure marketing hype with no real value whatsoever. Maybe having the reservation actually made it harder to get a Bronco. IDK…. I’d love to hear from anyone who knows more about how the price protection actually works and if it has any teeth at all.

Sorry for the rant and for all those losing out trying to spend 50k+ for a Bronco. Maybe, hate to say it, and I hope I’m wrong, the reservation and price protection isn’t worth much at all. Just unreal.

Town and Country Ford youtube channel posted a video a couple of weeks ago saying the hardtops had like a 65% availability as well as lux packages, something smells! Not sure where they got the info.
Does anyone have an idea how many wildtrack 2d and 4d are still on order??
Those numbers were January 23 numbers for all the stuff they were quoting.

So do we have any official communication that dropping any one of the three constraints will net the $2500?

Because now I’ve heard both (ie have to drop all 3 for $2500 vs dropping one or more for the credit)

I have all three and are going to drop 2 but keeping the MIC top
