The bigger concern is that the bubble side down protects the paint. I mistakenly had it installed like he did and it started scratching the paint. Had to flip it around.
This is not true. Dakota Lithium misspoke or is lying. I ordered the 18AH and got two 18AH and two 20AH. They are not the same size. I held them side by side. The 20AH is slightly larger. Just enough to make 4 of them not fit in that cargo space. It’s fine if you only want to fit 3 or less. I...
Lead foot gray and Nardo gray are two colors that fit the Braptor well. If lead foot gray was available I for sure would have gotten that instead of the black I got.
You have a lightbar so makes sense for you to keep your deflector on but it's actually a lot easier to install the trailrax rack to the car and then put on the deflector vs. the instructions saying to install the deflector to the rack and then install to the car. Makes reaching those front bolts...
The trailrax comes off very easily. I frequently go between completely roof less and and full rack about every 2 weeks. Takes me about 30 minutes to install the rack and even less time when I remove it.
As long as the batteries are wired in parallel then the voltage will be the same. Can be 3, 4, or 100. Doesn’t matter if wired in parallel. The bracket being discontinued is a problem though.
Unfortunately there aren’t any that I’ve seen. I don’t think American Adventure Lab has either because they still have the multi mount as not available to order. Still can fit 3 of the new 20 AH batteries in that area if you decide to go that route.
Finished the projects I was working on and got all my gear loaded for camping at Bronco Super Celebration tomorrow.
-air lines ran to each wheel well
- American adventure labs cargo floor, battery mount, fridge slide and compressor mount
- dual battery system
I have been waiting in Corsa. They are local to me and I have contacted them a few times to get info on a Raptor system. Got antsy on Borla but glad I didn’t bite. Will continue to wait for Corsa.
It's so perplexing to me that people don't understand this. You can buy a vehicle from anywhere in the country and have it sent to you for a relatively low cost. No need to be stuck on the dealerships in your area...

You got any closer pics of the plastic trim piece? How well does it match the bumper? I’m thinking of just partially painting that plastic trim and painting my hooks half black and half code orange. Like the markup of my Braptor below
