My service advisor told me I had to leave mine at the dealer to be scheduled. He couldn’t schedule it for repairs unless it was at the dealer. It’s been 14 days sitting in the parking lot. Ford app showed it went into “deep sleep” mode today to conserve battery.
He did answer an email and said parts have been ordered but no reply when asked about an ETA or if I can pick up my vehicle until the parts arrive.

No loaner offered.
Id be taking my extra keys and getting it back lol.

I dropped mine off tonight, I expect them to have it 2 days max to diagnose then I want it back while they wait for parts to come in.

So question to all going thru this ... Knowing what you know now before you ordered would you have switched to the automatic? My order isn't even going to be built until Q2 and was really looking forward to the manual but I can't have something that's going to be back and forth to the dealer. I know the "fix" is out there but nothing to report yet. Anyrate, hoping for the best and a quick (relative yes) fix is implemented before mine goes down the line.
100% still would have gone with the manual. This is the only issue I know of with the manual and you only are hearing about it because we are enthusiast forum but I don't even believe this is affecting all manual broncos either.

So is this happening to both 4 door and 2 door broncos? I'm wondering if there is an issue with the transmission on heavier vehicles or not. Also if sasquatch manual is having these issues.

So anyone with a 2 door manual non sasquatch having issues?

Check the spreadsheet, the only pattern it seems is 7MTs in general. We’ve got a swath of 2DRs, sas and non, all sorts of trims.

Wait you’re on a second or third transmission yet you don’t want them to open it up and fix it?
This will be my 2nd replacement, so 3rd transmission counting the factory one. We have no proof that the TSB works and no proof that a new transmission won’t work now that the TSB is out. I guess I’m running a little experiment. The hope is that new transmissions coming out now will already have the TSB complete or have been built properly from the factory. With no info from Ford, it’s impossible to know. Regardless, replacement is much lower risk (and a quicker job) than opening up the transmission IMO. Plus parts are hard to get for the TSB. I’m not 100% happy about the decision, but I’m also not opposed to trying it out, and then if the sound comes back, TSB it is.

Thank you for linking that. I do apologize I saw the poll but didn't even realize the spreadsheet. So there goes my theory about weight lol

Was finally able to record the noise from outside the vehicle — currently 52F here, so not as loud as when it’s below freezing.

Good morning! If you can send over a private message with your VIN and dealer info, I can look into things on my end.

Really? We put together an entire spreadsheet of dozens of folks who are affected by this issue, that you already have a TSB for, and you think the usual “we’ll schedule an appointment for you” act is helping still?

Agreed, at this point it would be better if they jus stopped interacting in here at all

Dropped mine off tonight so it could soak overnight. Not even sure what that really means... :) It's being left outside to assure that it'll be < 50 degrees (should be around 40 degrees at 9am).

Have most people just been driving their Bronco back home while waiting for parts to come in for the TSB? Thought I saw at least 1 person getting a loaner vehicle.
Just a quick update... dealer was able to confirm the issue and is ordering the parts. Could be a few months to get the parts. He said it is safe to drive.

What’s your point? It’s to open a case.

Dropped mine off tonight for an appointment tomorrow. We’ll see what they say but literally wrote the bulletin number on the form. I expect them to actually do it and not change the transmission.
Tech crawled under and drove it, confirmed the noise, ordered the parts per TSB. Service advisor called and said come get it, they’ll call when parts are in since some are back ordered. Said nowhere on the TSB does it say to not drive it so they said go ahead. Best case scenario at the dealer since I don’t want a new transmission and I didn’t want them to hold it until parts showed up.

Every time I’ve been told to DM Ford like this, they literally just tell you how to setup an appointment with your dealer. They don’t do anything to benefit you or expedite things. They just randomly crawl the forum hoping members will do their work for them.

Picked-up my bronco today, dealer will call when they have parts. Again, they expected 3 months before I'd actually get on the schedule. They had to bring the bronco around to me, wish I had the camera recording it was 56F out and the sound was super loud.

Also note, the dealer had so many trucks, like probably 20+ F150s and similar number of super duty's. Prices are already dropping but I think thats gonna escalate quick.
