Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

I have a brand new 2023 Base with less than 100 miles and I heard a noise from under it today when cold. Wasn’t super loud but with the radio and hvac off I could hear the noise go away when I pressed in the clutch pedal and it came back after releasing it.

When I have more time I’ll try and compare to when it’s hot etc, maybe take videos but at this point I hope it’s just break in since it’s so new.

I also think the 1-2 shift for me seems harder than all the other gears, almost like the clutch isn’t depressed all the way when shifting into 2nd. Not sure if I’m just being picky or it’s an actual issue.

Im getting the TSB done. Waiting on parts. I just want shit to work.

Just had mine in at the dealer for the noise and they're ordering parts as per the TSB. To be fair the car worked fine, and I'm confident in it continuing to work until said parts arrive.

What has me concerned is what that one Ford tech posted earlier. These TSB parts are literally the same parts as new, and not some new fortified "more permanent-type fix" part. I'd like to be sure that once this TSB is done I won't have to bring it back in 500-1,000 miles.

My 1-2 shift was a bit "sticky" for the first few thousand miles. At 8600 miles currently & it's smooth as butter.

I also have this issue on my 2022 2.3L 7MT Black Diamond. About 350 miles on it. I didn't notice the issue maybe 200 miles ago, when it was very new. But maybe that is because the weather was warmer then? Either way, when I start it cold now, definitely a rattling/grinding noise that goes away if I push the clutch pedal in.
Is there a surefire fix to this yet? Like can I just take it to Ford service and mention the TSB number and they will know exactly what I'm talking about and get it fixed right away? Or is it more complicated than that? They've already taken over a month now to fix a "simple" issue resulting in my ebrake not functioning at all... but I digress...

I know you all don’t ever actually discuss issues with us, but how about providing some context on the TSB, why the same parts are being used, and if you’re still working on a more permanent resolution to this issue? It clearly affects a large portion of 7MT owners, if not all of us.

Chances are high that you’re only hearing about this issue from us proactive, enthusiast folks right now and will be inundated with blown transmissions from everyone else in a year or two.

The slightly sticky 1-2 shift is normal from break in, and is similar to my Focus RS’s 6MT box. It goes away and smooths out. The shifting of the 7MT is excellent, and a big reason why I’m hesitant to go in for a TSB without updated parts/procedure.

Same here, I’d like to know if this is a permanent fix before having it done. I’d rather not have the transmission cracked open more then once.

Dealer is ordering parts as per the TSB posted. The service advisor did say that there were a few parts on the list they'd get quick, others would be back ordered just like everything with a new model car.

Let me just say I am SOOOO excited to be taking this journey with all of you.

So question to all going thru this ... Knowing what you know now before you ordered would you have switched to the automatic? My order isn't even going to be built until Q2 and was really looking forward to the manual but I can't have something that's going to be back and forth to the dealer. I know the "fix" is out there but nothing to report yet. Anyrate, hoping for the best and a quick (relative yes) fix is implemented before mine goes down the line.

I might have changed, but i am hoping mine is fixed since it shipped 12/18. Sitting at a railcar lot waiting on truck Pickup.
