They are investigating the issue. I'm responding for them because i'm sure they are getting bombarded.

Thanks! My reply from them on the 29th via phone call seemed to indicate that there's no issue. They state it's tested multiple times before shipment. I told them they work. But the backup light is much lower then expect

Man that’s some bullshit if that’s as bright as it gets. Calling it a c1 is very misleading for output. Should have it’s own model number.

If this is a board issue from a certain production run, can you ask a follow-up about who might be affected? Just got one for my wife, and I have pocket flashlights brighter than 300 lumens, that's not an option.

We are looking into this matter now, and we hope to provide more information soon. While the C1R uses a completely different emitter than the C1, due to the combined high-power red and white, we are trying to determine why those values are so different.

For an immediate solution, please feel free to contact us if you'd like to swap to a C1. Otherwise, please be assured that we do stand behind our products and we will provide a resolution so the C1R owners get the power that they expected. More information to come very soon. Hope for a reply soon! I actually need dim and bright red for my project. So I hope the backup light issue gets solved soon . Lucky I always bench test my lights when I get them
