So I checked mine out last night. I get tons of heat on the front floor (both sides), but almost zero airflow/heat in the rear seats (either side)

My BL is going in for the windshield warranty work at the end of January, will have them check out the HVAC then to see if this is what is expected.

Hello! Could you privately message us with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer so I can look into this heated seat concern for you? Thank you!

How do you know if the OTA 3.5.4 (Floor heat fix) has been successfully uploaded?

Where did you read/hear that OTA 3.5.4 was a fix for this floor heat issue?

Honestly I could dry my hair with the side window defrosters blowing 100mph ALL THE TIME. My feet freeze. Not happy. My heated steering wheel is a joke. MN winters are tough and this doesn’t make it easier.
have someone with a FORScan go in there and bump up the set temperature of your steering wheel.

Here in Detroit it has been 25-30 degrees during my first week of ownership. I’ll concede that the floor vents definitely aren’t moving large volumes of air. But I’ve been running mine on the “floor only” setting, warm air (half way between middle and max heat), and fan speed about a third of the way up. I gotta say it’s been plenty warm for my feet and I need to shed the shell layer of my jacket if I’m driving for more than 20 minutes or so. Looking forward to testing more when it gets down to single digits. But I’ve got room to increase the temp and fan speeds.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this thread. I've had my 2023 Bronco for one week and the floor heat seems to be nonexistent. From this thread and another thread it isn't clear to me how/whether the floor heat issue is getting fixed. I live in Montana and drove for 45 minutes in -30 weather yesterday. My kid in the back seat had a winter coat and winter boots but his feet were numb by the time we arrived home. This truly is a safety issue for those of us who live in cold weather areas. I refuse to risk frostbite in my children inside a brand new car. So, what have people done that actually works? Desperately need a solution!

This weekend I had very wet and very cold summer rate boots. My poor tuttsies were very very very cold. I had it on floor and defrost and my feet were warmed up in about 20 mins or so.

I’ve found that the only solution that Ford recommends is to move to Miami.
But seriously I live in a mild seasonal climate and it’s not my daily driver so it really doesn’t affect me that much but I feel for those who it really affects. Sorry guys. So many great things about the bronco and yet it does have a lot that needs improved.

First thing is to take it to your dealer and tell them to fix the damn thing!

They know there's a problem, and they know some of the things to check, especially the ductwork that tends to be disconnected inside the center console area. That's the first thing they need to look at…

This is even a problem for those of us in the desert on cold mornings. I can't imagine what it's like to live in sub-freezing conditions with these problematic heating ducts... 🥶

See post #179 above...Have your dealer check the temperature sensor, that is what seems to have solved it for me.

Post #34 on this thread offers a solution. Haven't had a chance to try it yet, if you do, please post back.
