My VIN starts 1FMEE5D, window sticker shows 4.27 Rear Axle-Locking Diff & Advanced 4x4.
Yep, E5C and E5D are advanced 4x4 transfer case.

When I converted from 22 to 23 we went through the order and everything was there. When I received confirmation from Ford. Sasquatch was dropped.

I immediately flagged my dealer and it was corrected immediately. They said it was something to do with the 2023 order process it was automatically dropping sasquatch.

I had the same thing happen with my order. I immediately notified the dealer and the salesman said he would correct it. Have all the emails and text message to prove it. Then I was ghosted by the salesman and no one would return my calls or texts as to whether they had it corrected or not. Then I get the window sticker and saw it was missing Sasquatch and I lost my shit. I left a message with the general sales manager as to what was going on. He contacted me back and told me he looked at the emails and text messages and that I was correct it was their fault for not following up with it. Admitting they Screwed up does not fix this mess unfortunately. I live over an hour from the dealer, otherwise I would have drove there and sat in front of him and Made sure they had corrected it.
I guess some people will say it was my fault, some will say it was on the dealer. Either way it sucks and I am beyond mad.

Same thing has happened with my badlands. Dealer says nothing they can do and ford says there is nothing they can do either to cancel or change. So day 1 reservation that just got screwed.

I have been looking thru Bronco6g for 2 years but never created a profile. I need some advice so I finale created an account.

I got my window sticker today and the Bronco is missing the Sasquatch package, everything else is correct but no Sasquatch option?

When the dealer converted our order to a 2023 the email from Ford showed A non-Sasquatch outer banks Computer image. I contacted the salesman immediately and told him, he called me back later that day and said he confirmed the order with Ford and it was correct with Sasquatch pkg. and told me it is a computer generated image and is not always correct.
I remembered seeing on Bronco6g a thread about how to check your order thru the back door with Ford. I checked it thru the Ford back door link and it shows the order correct, I can check it right now and it shows correctly.
My production week is 11/28 with a blend date of 12/1. I’m guessing we are screwed and this cannot be corrected. I am contacting the dealer in the morning but I feel like it will end up being take this one or reorder and wait another two years.

On top of all that, when we received a build date on the Bronco, we sold our Explorer while the market was still good. If we go the reorder route and have to wait another 2 years we will have to buy something to fill the gap. I know my stupidity!

Any advice?

that really sucks!
my build got changed three times, had to reorder twice after initial build order.
mines supposed to build Monday 12-05-22.
your post scared the crap outta me wondering if the SAS option had been deleted. after checking the window sticker I guess I was lucky everything was there.
thanks to you I checked it out.
Yeah I agree ,you should raise hell for satisfaction.
BTW, I bugged the salesman at the dealership incessantly to verify everything. we are on a first name basis.
Lotsa luck, may the ford be with you.

Wow, day one reservation, waited all this time and it is going to be wrong! As mad as I am, I can feel your pain!
Ford Motor Co and the Ford dealers have really made a shit show out of the Bronco!
Ford with the handling of the orders, the dealers being greedy as hell, and neither one cares about the customers.
My family has been a Ford family forever!
My grandfather started his Ford dealership in 1943, I worked in that dealership as a Ford Senior Master tech and Service manager from 1988-2008.
We bleed Ford blue, but this mess is a cluster f**k!

Actually, in a Badlands, you are better off without the Sasquatch package. Just buy the rims and tires you like.

You have more articulation and I would argue that the 4.46 is better geared (plus it is only a 5% difference in the gearing). For example, where the Sasquatch Badlands on stock tires is turning 2500 rpm, a non-sasquatch Badlands would be "struggling" to turn Sasquatch tires at 2375 RPM.

You will likely never even notice that 125 rpm difference.

Definitely not better off. Sasquatch also ads a bit of lift, and if you ever want to go to 37s, you’ll want every bit of those 4.70s. That 10mm of articulation will never be noticed.

A forum member was able to add Squatch to his BL after getting his VIN but before the window sticker. If I remember right, his dealer was just able to add it in WBDO. This was for a MY22. @mcinfantry can offer more details.

Unfortunately it is already built, the Module data came up on the tracker app yesterday, it is built and alive.

We are going to have to buy it, or I find one at another dealer that won’t charge admin, did I just say that out loud? LOL. Yeah right!

Just trying to decide whether to throw tires, wheels and a lift at it or leave stock and just put some bigger tires on the stock obx wheels.

We are probably going to order a Wildtrack on the same day we pick up the OBX, since the OBX is not the way we ordered it. I just feel like if I put tires, wheels and lift that I will just loose my ass down the road when I sell it or trade it on the Wildtrack if and when it ever gets built.

If it was me I would just leave it stock, toss on some bigger tires if you like and then keep the stock ones. You can sell it as completely stock when your new vehicle comes in.

It adds 1/2" of lift (in theory), which could be easily replicated with a 1/2" plate added under the shock at each lower control arm.

Now, if he planned on running 37's, that does change the math, slightly. It's the equivalent of running 34's on my OBX (which has 4.27s). It's NOT a big deal. Can I tell a difference in 0-60 times, yes... would it still crawl vertically in 4L with sufficient down force, yes.

In the 2.3 Manual Badlands, you still get the 4.7 gears. I am assuming that he has the 2.7 with the automatic (which has 100 ft/lbs more torque than the 2. 3).

You have remember how much stinking torque the Bronco is putting down. Everyone is thinking that this needs to be geared like a jeep with a 3.6 pentastar v6...

Now I would agree that he needed all the gear he could get with 40's, but even BroncBuster is rocking 40's with 4.7 gearing.

Undecided
We may just go ahead and buy it, order another one and sell this one when the next one comes in in 2025, geez did I say that?
The dealer owned up to the mistake right off the bat and is trying to work with us. I guess it could be worse, I may Have never had it built. But now I know why we got a build date finally, they left off the sas pkg lol!
How about doing that, but the dealer eats the taxes and any increase in registration costs (NJ is much more for first 4 years of registration, as example) for the next one. Kind of only fare, why should you have to pay all that stuff twice.

Trust me. No matter how much people will say you don’t need Sasquatch or it isn’t a big deal, it will eat away at you that you aren’t getting exactly what you wanted. It happened to me on a prior car purchase until I eventually just sold it and got what I wanted. Every Sasquatch bronco you pass on the road will be like a knife in the chest.

** Update 12/7/2022 **

Well I threw in the towel today. I told the dealer I did not want it without the Sasquatch pkg.
I’m sure this actually made their day, instead of selling it to me for window sticker, they will put some wheels and tires on it and make 10k off of it.

I have no idea what to buy my wife, we sold her Explorer ST a couple weeks ago when they locked in the Bronco build date. So now we have no Explorer ST and no F’ing Bronco!

I have called all over the place looking for an Outer Banks w/sas, Badlands w/sas, or a Wildtrack. If it has the 2.7 and sas pkg they want 10k & up over msrp, and the sales people all act like assholes when you call to ask about them! I have found a couple of 2.3 sas pkg that they will do msrp, but not what we want.

This just sucks watching the excitement drain out of my wife, and I am just mad as hell and it just gets worse the more my wife and I talk about it. Almost 2 years of excitement and anticipation just flushed down the tubes, and the salesman has yet to contact me and apologize or say anything! The salesman kept telling us don’t change anything on your order to try and get it built quicker, build it the way you want it and be patient. Thanks your a real pal !!!

I will not name the dealership or it’s personnel but I am more than mad with them, and it will cost them some business. I will not bash them on any forums or facebook but they just lost a lot of business!

Everyone enjoy your Bronco’s and if I manage to find one I’ll catch up with you then!

Peace out!
