@Ford Motor Company, What’s the process to update the now out of date software on my Dirt Mountain Bronco that’s been sitting there for 4+ months?
Step one: Remove Mice from the wiring harnesses and replace said harnesses….

If I wanted a Tesla with constant updates I would have bought one.

I want to just buy a vehicle that the car maker has perfected and not be the guinea pig. They charge enough, it should be better.

I also understand that we live in this world of great technology and terrible software engineers. Things will need some updates from time to time to correct what they just can't get right the first time.

But I want a system that will let me choose which updates I want to accept. I bought a vehicle as it is. Not as your gonna make it be later. If I can't roll back an update in case I don't like it, I'm out.

Mine is turned off.

sooo @Ford Motor Company how do you tell what version you're on? In the truck the software details just says I'm up to date... my iphone FordPass app says "recent updates" is 2.3.2 from June 28 2022... soooo... 🤔

My last one was on June 14, version 2.1.1. When I check for updates it says there are no new ones. Kinda lame.

Sheesh. I'm impatiently waiting to go from 3.5.2 to 3.5.3, it could be a lot worse I guess.

I have a 2.7L Badlands 4D, and mine has the same date, but is labeled 2.1.2.

Hey @Ford Motor Company, you started this thread, so why have you ghosted it. I have now had to spend nearly $1000, just to keep my Ford properly updated. Do you want my VIN to help look at this problem from your end?

1fmde5cp2mla76229

Don't offer to send me a trouble ticket number, respond publicly why multiple people at Ford misled me saying that version 1.9.1 (21146_product revision 145) was the latest version.

FDRS proved that they were misleading me, 12 hours and $1000 later I was finally running 22294_product revision 610.

I am waiting for a response... so are many other people who don't know better.

So Friday after never having received a OTA update on my 6/21 build BL I get the first one, 2.3.1. I was shocked, I had a scheduled time and date, I manually would check periodically and it always said no new updates were available. All of a sudden out of the blue I get an update.

yeah... so many of us on old outdated software... no way to know what version you're even on... no explanation as to why some trucks won't update... uuuugh.

Now my fordpass app says latest update was 5 Jan 2023... but it's for the "Alexa Built-in" stuff... no version number... just a priority update number at the bottom: 22-PU1110-SNC-RS

Would love ANYBODY @Ford Motor Company to comment or at least acknowledge there's an issue and it's being looked into. But I'm not holding my breath.
