  1. Rear shock recall done, shields installed. Pictures included

Got my 21' Outer Banks Sasquatch back yesterday. 100k miles on it. Both shocks failed inspection and were replaced. Replacement has the added block on them as well. All work was done free under safety recall.
  2. Rear shock recall done, shields installed. Pictures included

This is a safety recall and Ford must replace them free of charge no matter where you are on warranty or mileage. Although Shocks themselves are covered under maintenance, the issue is a safety recall is a different things. It's an NTSB Safety Recall.
  3. Rear shock recall done, shields installed. Pictures included

Honestly they didn't look that complicated to remove, I wonder if a quick sanding and rattle can of yellow can spruce them up. Maybe even try and paint the letters contrasting..
  4. Rear shock recall done, shields installed. Pictures included

I was talking to my repair tech, mine is on the lift right now getting repaired, since these are safety/hazard recalls, they have too replace them and make them right. I have 100k miles on my 21' Outer Banks Sasquatch and they are doing it for free... so well outside of the warrantee timeframe.
  5. Long term reliability > 100k miles yet, anyone?

I know right, and honestly they will probably cover me to 120k. They still look great.
  6. Long term reliability > 100k miles yet, anyone?

Currently sitting at 99,785 miles on a 21' Outer Banks Sasquatch. I drive 110 miles daily, from Frederick, MD to Baltimore, MD and back. 75-80% of my miles are highway at around 80-85mph. Currently at an average of 19.3 MPG I am on my 3rd windshield, it has a small chip but it hasn't failed...
  7. Long term reliability > 100k miles yet, anyone?

I had my AC go out at about 95k miles, turned out to be this issue. I paid over 1k$ for the replacement of that part as they needed to purge and refill the coolant. Do we know if this can be just replaced without purging and refilling the coolant or will that always be required. I ask...

  16. UFO Bronco Landing?

You opened a whole can of worms LOL. So I've read through the comments, like the choice of the Opt7 Photons, like where you mounted them and the control box. Did you actually hook them to the upfitter switches for primary power? or is it all done through the remote, on/off/color change? I...
