So far so good. The Ford Recall check shows I haven't been flagged... yet... I'll check again in a few days. Crossing my fingers I am one of the lucky few.

Thanks for the heads up!!

Mine is built after these dates, but good to know, regardless! Guess I will periodically crawl under once In a while to check!

Where I'm at, I'm told it's 7-9 days in the shop before they'll see my car. With no loaner.
They shouldn't need it 7 to 9 days before, so take it day of... Not all dealers provide loaners I guess but it sounds like you should find a better dealer, especially if you purchased yours there and they are giving you the run around. Obviously just my .02

Interesting......I have a Jan 2022 build and my Driveshaft had to be replaced with only 1600 miles for a whirring noise that occurred when the vehicle was fully warmed up. I created a separate post on the topic and a very select few others have had the same issue. The Service manager indicated that it was heat related due the rear of the driveshaft CV boot being located right next to the exhaust. The heat was drying up the grease, grease sticking to the boot causing the noise. It may or may not be this, it's just his theory.

Now I wonder if mine had a defective boot even though it is out of the date range?

I find it very interesting. My 7/15/21 build does not show under this Recall. There have been oddities with my specific build for some reason. When received in Aug/21, it also had a 1.0 MIC top, and did not show up under the CSPs. Had to really fight to get it swapped out.

Is the boot a two piece design and the seam is coming unsealed?

Again see my signature…

Yeah, I don't disagree. I have called around. It's frustrating. I have this issue: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...s-on-the-a-pillar-and-a-few-other-bugs.29039/

Look at the video in the response. It's terrible.

For what it's worth, I found the issue. Behind the airbag itself is a piece of metal with a fingernail width space. That's the rattle. I stuck my health insurance card in the space as a temporary fix. But before I could fix it, I literally hated driving my car for a week. Spent $22 to download the manuals to get to that area safely.

Apologies in advance for the dumb question, but how can one get the day of build? I found month and year on door jamb but no day. Thanks, fg

As others said, it has to be hot. ( 20 +miles )
I did a few timed tests and within 10 minutes it was gone. In 5 minutes it was still somewhat noticeable.
I hear it reflecting off my garage wall. When you lift it and do the spin test, sounds like metal on metal.

To be clear, I have the cracked boot and heat effects nothing.
It seems to be all about speed for me. 65+ and the vibration is there.

Debris getting into the drive shaft is a variable though - so perhaps so are experiencing different side effects than others

Oh great! I get to leave my Bronco at a dealership again for 2 weeks without a loaner. Yay!
