Which hood struts are most going with? I've been looking at the Rough Country, MRT and Redlines. The RC's are the cheapest but, I don't care about price. Just looking for which ones will be the most durable and long-lasting.

I am just using the standard Redlnes on mine and have not had any issues. I think you'll be happy and they are a great company to work with!

Just ordered the Redline QuickLIFT ELITE (Max LIFT Edition).

Mrt’s on mine, no issues. The carbon fiber ones are hydro dipped metal. Not real carbon fyi. I like them.

I bought Redline and parts don’t fit in hood. I regret the decision and pretty annoyed at the moment…. I ordered them early and finally had a chance to install this weekend. Total fail.

Asking myself why I have to grind down a part and/or file away at the hood to make it work…. Total crap

Just ordered the Redline QuickLIFT ELITE (Max LIFT Edition).

My Bronco hasn't shipped yet, so I figured I'd ask -- does a factory Bronco have any sorts of hood struts, or is it just a simple prop?

I'm sure you got the wrong part then. It could be as simple as someone putting the wrong part in the shipping tube. I have the Redline and they work perfect, fit, function all good. You absolutely have the wrong one's. There is zero need to make any modification. Can you post a picture of the instructions they sent you in the tube?
