I wish I ordered….

For those of you who have actually received your Bronco…what do you wish you would have ordered but didn’t?

I’ve got a fairly loaded-up Badlands on order, but given that I’ve waited this long (8 months) was wondering if I should add anything else to my order (for example, towing package) rather than do it aftermarket.

I wish i could have got the upgraded shocks on the wildtrak as they came out right after my build date. But otherwise I got pretty much everything. I do wish I could have had the option to order a different tire option than the Goodyear MT tires. I'm not knocking the tires at all just would have liked more options for those of us using this for work and play.

My only regret is not mine, but Ford's. They did not offer the Base Mansquatch in 4 door. I was bummed about that for awhile. Settled on building me a Bad Bend...a 4 door Big Bend with aux switches and a rear locker. Will add Badlands coilovers and the Badlands upgraded wheel package once it gets here. In the end this should suit me just fine as I do not "need" what the sasquatch package offers. Mine is still on a train though, so not 100% if I regret anything else....

Rear locker.

For what I do in the Midwest, the rear locker was all I would have needed.

As an FE, there's not much I could've asked for in terms of options.
That said, I do wish that I had kept the factory winch option, but I got an email saying that the winch would delay my delivery, and after 2 MIC top delays, I was fed up.
Now trying to add a winch that doesn't affect the radar and camera is harder than I expected, but I've survived without it so perhaps it's not too bad.

The factory winch would have effected your front camera(ford does not have a relocate kit) and the dealer if they do the job right turns off your front parking sensors. I’m not certain of the effects on the auto cruise option. I had to modify the factory setup to use my sensors and front camera.

I love the Cyber Orange Color. It is the perfect mix on my 2-Door Badlands, as the Interior accents all mend harmoniously and the vinyl decals I ordered really add a nice touch both inside and out.

There is a part of me that wishes I would have ordered Rapid Red because it’s gorgeous, was only available that first year, and for some unknown reason, I’ve encountered 3 other Cyber Orange Broncos in my daily life (two 2-DR, 2 at work, and 1 in the neighborhood)!

What’s humorous is I actually encountered the two at work shortly after putting in my official re-order.

Here is why I’m not beating myself up… I was originally on the 2023 train because of the Modular Top debacle, but had my daily driver totaled last November. So, I had already made my mind up about the Cyber Orange, and then bad luck turned into the good fortune of getting my Bronco sooner.

I've gone back and forth on SAS for months....currently have it without (with the hopes I get my Bronco sooner).

I went w/out SAS on my Badlands (2-DR). First off, I’m a believer it wasn’t necessary on a BL, but second off… I actually think it makes my Bronco more distinguished.

The vast majority of Broncos I’ve seen have included the SAS Package… whether it was an OBX, another BL, etc…it’s probably been 80%

Articulation. The only thing I’ve asked it for so far is flex.

I only added Sasquatch to my badlands because it was $2495 back then. I was going to order the $995 optional beadlock wheels and I think 33” MTs were $595 or something. So I got 35s on wider wheels, 4.70 gears, and a little Sasquatch guy on my fridge sticker for about $900. These days I don’t really see why anyone would Sasquatch a badlands if it’s $5995 or whatever the current price is.

Nothing. I took off tow and switched to soft top / 4-door. After driving the 2-door, I’m VERY glad I have the 4-door. I am also pretty happy with the soft top. Too easy to kick that top back and close it up on the side of the road if k hit rain. The tow would have been nice, but the aftermarket is a lot cheaper. I just had to do the labor. Thats not too bad considering all the labor I have done for mods anyway.

Just remember if you change anything it'll auto bump you to MY 22.5 prices or MY23 prices if you do it later...

Ordered 4 door Wildtrak CG hardtop.
Finally got it a few months back.
I dropped tow to improve chances of getting it sooner.
(Already bought and installed hitch and harness myself, saved hundreds)
I should've ordered modular bumpers and roof rack.
Searching for appropriate after market for each of those currently.

I’ll take delivery of my OBX next week. The dealer is doing the recall now. I wish I had ordered it with the roof rails, aux switches and modular bumper. Otherwise I will add the roof rails now (which will cost me more) and pretty happy with how I kitted it out.
