I don’t know if it auto brakes but it definitely reduces stopping distance. I had someone cut me off and it triggered some beeping and I stopped HARD. Sorry it didn’t help with her situation - I’ve had it trigger a warning a few times when the road curves but the markings weren’t great.

I don’t fit in the JL series Wrangler, so it isn’t an option for me, the roll bar at the B-pillar is right where my head should go. The highway manners of the Bronco are just lightyears better than the Wrangler. These were decisive in the end for me.

The lines on the page said cleared codes, performed troubleshooting. So they seem to think it was a transient error. Not yet.
