N2 Valve Caps

Picked up my Badlands Sasquatch June 23. A Dirt Mountain car. Told the dealer I wanted to receive the vehicle right off the auto carrier, with no wash or any other dealer prep. They offered wash, tint, ceramic, nitrogen, etc, but I said no.

I received the car as I requested and I am nearly 100% sure the dealer did not touch it. Mud from Dirt Mountain on the drivers side floor and fender wells.

It came with N2 valve caps (see photo). I do not believe these were put on by the dealer.

My conclusion is that there is nitrogen in the tires. I’m guessing that the wheels and tires come to Ford pre-assembled from a supplier, and inflated to the specified pressure by the supplier.

Anyone else with a Badlands Sasquatch or other model have these?

What if I had paid the dealer to put Nitrogen in the tires?

Your dealer put those on. Definitely not from the factory. They probably automatically do it and didn't charge you after you refused.

I'd also recommend replacing those caps with plastic. Last thing you want is a crappy metal cap to corrode and not want to come off.

Mine did not come with N2 caps! I would bet my bottom dollar there is no nitrogen in your tires.

You would lose that bet since the atmosphere( the air we breath) is comprised of 78% nitrogen.

Mine didn’t come with those valve caps. Just the normal black plastic ones. I was charged for nitrogen though…

I knew that was coming...let me rephrase...I will bet my bottom dollar there is not PURE nitrogen in those tires!

I got the new caps but didn't pay extra for it
The next morning I had my rims and tire put on and they released it to atmosphere.
