Bronco GMRS call sign

Since Installing a Midland MXT275 and receiving my GMRS license, I was wondering if anyone would like to share their call sign on here? I have no problem building a living a spreadsheet, but i wanted to reach out and feel the response first.

Not sure its really worth it, since there is no customization at all for the GMRS license like I believe HAM gets. Also if you have someone's FCC license you can easily find out their home address, so I'm reluctant to list mine in a public forum. Its easier than tracing car license plates.

Ok, thats fine you are looking out for others. But, you do know all address are public knowledge / record and provided on the internet or through FOIA request from your local deed holder? this is besides the point of this post. Lets get back to the subject.

Is anyone running a GMRS radio and like to share their call sign for events coming up? For example Supercel, KOH, SEMA, etc.

Mine is WRQI756 out of Great Falls, MT. Share yours in a PM, if you would like to be part of a spreadsheet I can build, and share one to one, not publicly. I will only provide the callsign and origination city in the spreadsheet. If not, then we can move on and call it a day.

Good grief, in the not so long ago past, once a year they delivered something to your door that had everyone's name, address and phone number in it in your area.

How dare you show what my Sunday attire is while watching NASCAR! Well played lol. I don't mind sharing info that is publicly available. Hell my name and picture was on the Al-Shabaab social medias as a wanted target. I did some "business" over in Africa for a number of years so I'm not surprised or hiding my info.

this is for when we find ourselves at a Bronco event, off-road event, or on the trail to get a hold of people where cell service is not reliable. And or, if you are near a repeater to keep in contact with a large footprint. Some of us share that we are going out to a trial, if we know the others call sign, we can try to contact them via GMRS, just to chat, meet up or let them know we need a recovery option.

Why do you need their call sign to contact them? I am new to GMRS but I also just purchased a MXT250 and used it with my buddy’s last weekend and had a blast.
