Wow, how many windows did you end up getting? I think my 4 door only comes with 8,I didn't know we could order more. And I haven't heard of extra lighting either, please elaborate!

Given them 1 star on the survey, that will negatively impact the dealership.

I'm glad you took it instead of letting them mark it up and sell it for big profit.

I bet these will keep their value for a while, so maybe when orders open up again you can place an order for the bronco you actually want at another dealer and eventually sell the red one?

So I took delivery of A Bronco on Saturday. Notice, I said “A Bronco.” So on 07/20/20 , I reserved a 4 door Wildtrak with a local dealership outside of Columbus in Ohio. On 10/20/21 I received a call from my dealership stating I would not be getting a 2021 and “we” needed to convert my reservation to a 2022. Naturally I wanted to know what the changers were to the new model and after being advised, I decided to build a Badlands instead. Built the vehicle specked out with plenty of windows xtra lighting and sticker came to about $68,000.

On 04/07/21 I received an email from Ford (not the dealership) congratulating me on my Wildtrak order with my reservation number. Obviously I was shocked considering I changed my order to the Badlands. Yep, you guessed it Bronco lovers, the dealership failed to convert the order and place it for a stock race red Wildtrak. I called them on the carpet about it and eventually they admitted it was their fault after being all to eager to keep the Wildtrak and seek it someone else. I basically got a ,”whoops, yeah we did that.” I had absolutely no recourse. Take the one I didn’t build with nothing on it that I wanted and the wrong color … or nothing. So after waiting 20 months I took delivery of A Bronco. So pissed. So tired of dealerships not being held accountable. Ford and it’s dealerships are so disconnected I got an email from Ford 4 days after I had Possession of the vehicle stating my vehicle was built and they would let me know when it shipped. WTF? I will most likely be selling it soon for its not what I ordered and if I can make a profit, I will; I believe I’ve earned it!!

Sorry to hear about that, But why didn't you log into you Ford account after you met with you dealership and verify that they pushed the changes you made through to Ford?

I agree that this is the dealerships fault and you have every right to be pissed at them, but there is some responsibility on your part as well. trust but verify.

Sorry your dealer fleeced you, did you not get a order preview of all the options/model before they resubmitted it? From when you got your congrats on your wildtrak email 4/7/21 you should of had plenty of time to change the order to a Badlands.

It wouldn’t happen to be a dealer on US 33 that begins with an R? Nothing they do surprises me.

when you make an order, like you had to do again for the my22, the dealer needs you to sign a DORA of your build before they can submit. The DORA shows your complete build. So one of three things happened. They submitted an order without you signing the DORA (or forged your signature) = unlikely, you signed off on the DORA without proof reading it = most likely, or they resubmitted your original my21 order as soon as possible without consulting you first or before you contacted them with your intended changes = likely given you were issued a priority build code from the dealer

First Bronco owner I have seen to be disappointed they have a Bronco, because it wasn’t what they ordered but was.

So they left the hard top and it still got built? Guessing they resubmitted your original order because if they were trying to get it in fast they could have gone soft top. Did you originally order a mid package wildtrak? If it were a high package I would considering keeping it. But I’d probably flip/sell and reorder a MY23.

I’m with him on not liking the color bright red is one of the colors I will never buy on a vehicle. Just don’t do it for me. Of course I wouldn’t have bought a damn thing that I didn’t want and or order. It would be a hell no get me the vehicle I spec’d out. If I left a deposit I’d be getting that back off they could not provide the vehicle I agreed to. Of your unhappy sell before you put any more miles on it or get tempted to add anything to it.

Id be pissed too if they ordered me a wildtrack when I decided on a Badlands and in a different color. I wouldn't have taken possession of it. Thats how much I prefer the BL over the wildtrack.
