I'm seriously considering an aftermarket exhaust. With that in mind, I have a couple questions.

1) Do you think an exhaust is worthy mod for the Bronco?

2) If so, what exhaust do you recommend and why?

Thanks!

I'll vouch for the AWE 0FG exhaust. I run this exhaust and love it! I would run it again

You will spend a large pile of money trying to make the 2.7 sound better. It won't. It will just be louder. You will not gain any power with a catback exhaust. Waste of money.

I heard the AFE Apollo GT in person and it sounded great from the outside. I decided to order that one. My only concern is done inside on the highway. I'll find out after I install it.

Just to add to the discussion. People saying to not get an exhaust are correct, and people like myself who recommend it are also correct. This is a modification that not everyone will want or enjoy. I reached out to AWE for an exhaust because I knew that I wanted the sound. Some people enjoy a stock bronco that you can’t really even hear the exhaust at all, that’s not me. I can tell you that I enjoy driving my bronco more with the AWE exhaust. despite what people tell you about how you a v6 will never sound good, I disagree. I think mine sounds great, does it sound like a v8? No, that’s because it’s literally not a v8 and I’m not sure why people think it should sound like one. The 2.7 is a twin turbo v6 with outstanding power and the potential for extreme power. Why can’t a twin turbo v6 sound exactly like it should? I love my system and get nothing but complements wherever I go. Get whatever system you like the best. For me I went AWE because the people over are top notch, oh, and it’s proudly made in the USA which is awesome. You can reach out to them on the board directly also, @Sara/AWE is active here

You'll hate it in the long run. Keep it stock. Unless you can salvage the stock exhaust and keep it later when you want to put it back on.
