Day #4 sitting naked and unprotected at the rail yard.

Estimated delivery date still shows 2/4-2/10 & 2/10 on my trackers.. my dealer Gm said he hopes to see it this week but not to et my hopes up because we are at the mercy of truck driver shortage. We shall see!

Thanks but it ended up being a false alarm.
They called the “wrong” Olson
duuuuuuuuuude i would be soooooooooooooooooooo pissed. I am so sorry.

I didn't think my Bronco sitting in rail yard (waiting to be loaded on truck) would frustrate me as much as it is.

Waiting for status to go from In Production -> Built and modules to pop was bad, really bad, and never want to experience again.

CSX tracking was OK because I knew where it was..

However now it sucks more than ever, I have no way to track or get status updates, and are 100% dependent on dealer. My dealer is awesome and his statement hasn't changed, "I can't track either, all we can do is escalate and flag it, we only get notified once on truck, so it will get here when it gets here".

At least before I could go to website to check for update - now all I can is stare at phone waiting for dealer to call..

So you have no "wok area" in there at all, just rows of shelves? When I get home today I'll take a picture of mine. It looks like a bomb went off in it. I just navigate around the stuff to find my desk.
This is an older picture, it has changed a bunch we have work areas around the parameter we built in and large 4x8 table that throws my back out when i try to move it.
If I took a picture today, it would be a disgrace to organization.

Now it's time to go back to the pizza tracker to keep refreshing, waiting to see if it says "In final preparation at XYZ Ford"

It is what it is.
You 100% posted my exact feelings.

I know in the end, it will be ok, however as a small business owner, project manager, Information Technologist it goes against everything I preach to just leave it at the whim of someone else to make the right choices for me.

I have based a 30+ year career to be the answer man, so God is teaching me a lesson I assume. Learn patience and learn to depend on others.

Good morning...no change in status. So, you know what's coming, right?

Here's today's Purgatory Party Sad Song:

Where oh where, can our Broncos be?

My Bronco, my Bronco
You're drivin' me, it would seem
To swillin' with my friends
Johnny, Jack, and Jim Beam

All day long I wonder
Oh, where can you be
I'm drownin' my angst
In Long Island Ice Tea

My eyes are red and blurry,
But it's not from the booze
It's from 560 long days
Searching for clues

The day its delivered
Will be joyous indeed
A drink with my friends
Is most guaranteed

Where oh where, can our Broncos be?
These songs seriously make me smile every morning!

Delivery date is set for today. My wife dropped off the kids at school and drove past the dealership. There is Definitely several new Broncos parked in the back including a VB one! Is it mine? We shall see. They open at 9am. No trackers have changed. Still say "in production"...watch my salesman have the day off today 😂
Leaving the purgatory party so soon 😂 So excited for you!

So my poor dealer just got probably a four page email. I am just so frustrated not knowing why my Bronco is just sitting at MAP when CS admitted it was built, did pass QC and still won’t be shipped for over a week more. In snooping around a little with the trains I know some have already gone through my stop in Delaware after it was already built. In that email I wanted them to confirm once again that I will only be paying MSRP, threw in some of the OCD checklist, mentioned they better credit the $100 reservation fee I paid Ford even though they told me I would have to work that out with them(???) and brought up I know about the customer satisfaction fund. Let’s see what they come back with. O was very nice about the whole thing, I know in the grand scheme of things waiting a few more weeks is no big deal, but damn I want my baby or at least know it’s on its way!!! Oh and I have to sell my current car and can’t do that until I have a little more of a clue. Ok, rant done 😂
Considering they left my $500 deposit off my purchase order I think it’s completely reasonable.

I'd like to see the Oracle lights in person, in all pictures it looks like the "wash out" the BRONCO if that makes sense.
Everyone that installs them says they look better in person. I'll let you know if I ever leave purgatory!

I wish i had a check mark in the, "In Production", field.

<sniffle-sniffle>
Same boat here. I did call my dealer yesterday and they created a ticket with Ford to check my status. Per Ford my estimated delivery window in their systems is 1/26-2/1 pretty sure they arent going to make that if the vehicle hasn't hit the road or rails yet.

I do find it interesting that the dealer can mark it as hot after it has been produced I assume that it speeds up the transport process:
S&I Specialist Comments: Vehicle was only produced on Jan 11th (per WS the build/blend was supposed to be 1/8) of this month. Not late. It is still in the production process and not released from the plant. Once the vehicle is released from the plant, you can open a new ticket to mark it hot.

So my original estimated delivery date was 1/20.....which has long passed, there have been no updates, still says in production 1/6..... checked this morning out of disgust and the estimated delivery date has now changed to 2/9.....not what I was hoping for but SOMETHING at least updated.....hoping it may be early..... Looks like Purgatory for a while longer......

is it you… or your bronco “sitting naked and unprotected at the rail yard”? If it’s you, we can send help… this whole situation is frustrating, but we will get through it together 🤪
