🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

It amazes me the amount of crap that we have collected over 15 years. The biggest problem is me, I never put anything back, it lands the first place I can find when I am done using it. I know the Bronco will fit, I've had my Raptor in there with the door closed and was able to get in and out of the truck. Just got to rid myself of crap. The wife said she didn't feel comfortable backing it in or out. So I told her she could just park it and I'd put it in the stable each night and she would be able to drive straight out.

100% my husband. It kills me, lol. I need organization in my living space, so when he does this, especially with my tools, it drives me crazy. My stepdad and I hung the cork board in the garage and I spent a ton of time hanging and organizing all the tools. My husband works on his car on his side of the garage (opposite the tool bench) and they end up on his work bench never to be put away again. I go looking for tools and they are hidden amidst his crap and then i want to strangle him, LOL.

Mine was built 1/7 and has been in transit pretty much since it flipped to shipped 1/10. I’m in Eastern PA. i can’t believe PA is such a black hole.

My brother lives SO close to the plant... if they would just give it to him I'd be all set! One less to move

Ya. my problem is that it is both of us. I refuse to get rid of any car stuff, because I know I will need it someday. My wife uses it as a staging area of the never ending of flow from buy stuff, use stuff, buy more stuff, move old stuff to the bedroom, move older stuff to the garage, move even older stuff to one of the storage sheds. Then we had all 3 adult kids move back home when Covid happened now they don't want to move out.

I am currently living in a hostel for 20 somethings, and I am in low man on the totem pole. Just below the Cats and that is saying something.

I can't blame the wife for all of it, there is stuff in there that I'll never use, but if I think about throwing it out I think to myself that oh I'll need that one day. It's like the oven for Powder coating, I spent 25 bucks on it, haven't used it in 2 years but any day now I am going to find time to get back into it. I don't have time to do all the crap I do now.

Yep I’ll keep you posted. Was a 12/20 Build Week, not that it matters since both our trucks were on same rail.

It’s kinda weird that all the waiting is coming to an end. My identity to my family and friends has been the Waiting For Bronco Guy for 18 months.

I check United road again this morning. It’s been at the rail yard for a bit now and has been “pending pickup” from the dealer for a good week. As of this morning it now shows an estimated deliver to the dealer of this Friday so I am hopeful I can pick up by Saturday but I think the dealer has to install the center console safe so my pizza tracker of 1/31 may end up being more accurate for a pick up date…. I am keeping my fingers crossed for this weekend tho

I find piles of them laying in the open getting soiled by humidity.
We have rows of shelving in our garage and I try my best to keep things organized and I am not smart enough to remember where things are. I just assign them places and expect them to stay there.

You enter on the left and we have 3 rows of shelves that are now a shambled mess.

Delivery date is set for today. My wife dropped off the kids at school and drove past the dealership. There is Definitely several new Broncos parked in the back including a VB one! Is it mine? We shall see. They open at 9am. No trackers have changed. Still say "in production"...watch my salesman have the day off today

Woohoo! I am out of purgatory! I got the “shipped” update Saturday afternoon and my dealership called me about an hour ago to tell me it arrived! (Dealership is about 5 hrs from MAP)
Going tomorrow to pick it up!
Palsapp never updated, neither did backdoor tracker.

So you have no "wok area" in there at all, just rows of shelves? When I get home today I'll take a picture of mine. It looks like a bomb went off in it. I just navigate around the stuff to find my desk.
